The "domain boxes" (Meet The Seller & Domain Expert) NEED TO GO! 100% unneeded

Just clutters up the page and adds confusion

&

Easily confuses any Endures whom, reads too quickly & or has a more understanding of the language, PLUS when they realize that they can't even "Click " on to the "Domain Expert" to have a chat, it leads to more frustration and confusion.

Some endusers will "Assume " The "Domain Seller" & "Domain Expert" are the Same person (which they are not).

I have stated this before in this thread and will do it again. All the changes we have imposed are based on the feedback of your buyers. Since the release of these boxes on the landing pages, we have received few to none inquiries from your buyers anymore (pre-purchase) asking who the owner is and how reliable the owner is. You might think it is causing confusion as it adds additional information but rather it is creating clarity to your end-users this far. As we already see a significant decrease in only this aspect of your sale it might be worth just giving it a shot @DomainBarracksRob as you do not know how this influences your sales on the platform.

I got an email offer for one of my domains on Dan.com. I would like to make the sale via Dan, so I sent the buyer to the landing page (I'm not sure why he contacted me via email in the first place when a Dan lander exists, but whatever). The problem is that the buyer would like to receive an invoice, and I'm not sure if Dan.com can issue one. @LaszloSchenk, could you please help me with this?

the undeveloped Landing Page got plenty of leads
DAN gets less


A) have you tested BLUE LOGO / layout / versus GREEN LOGO / Layout?

there is a reason why IBM is called BIG BLUE

B) why can't you simply reinstall undeveloped as it was?
using undeveloped NS versus DAN NS

C) why can't you at least allow domainers to toggle between the layout

my personal option is:
you tested it in a far too narrow market
at least you didn't test it for Germany thoroughly enough

Currently, 96.809 .de domains are listed for sale

so about 5% are mine

Feature request;

We should have an option to add multiple payment options including multiple banking accounts and just creating a name for each payment profile;

In a case of sale, once the domain transfer is complete we should get a prompt to select the preferred payout method for the sale in question.

I just don't like sending messages over and over again for some to be sent out to Paypal.

Or what private info this box contain? That you do not want others to see? That you were online 1 hour ago? or that you sold 2 domains?

I'm reading Dan's ToS now and having a difficulty with understanding the following: "10.6 In case of violation of paragraphs 4 and/or 5 the Transferee shall forfeit without that further notice of default is required a directly and not open to mitigation claimed fine of:"

Native speakers, could you comment on the above, is it properly written?

Generally, I'm under impression that Dan's ToS should have been rewritten for better user experience.

I like the Domain Expert idea a,lot however The Domain Expert is of real dubious value with no obvious way of contacting the expert. Why not say you can reach the Expert by clicking on the chat icon and also add to the icon that it is a link to Chat, which is not obvious by looking at it. It appears DAN does not really desire people to know it is a CHAT link but why?.

The "Lease To Own" option is definitely an innovative move.. it's not 100% new to lease a name, but it has never been done like this..= where the average seller can make a consistent income monthly…making it a real business in time. Rather than waiting around for a big sale.(That wouldn't hurt along the way though).

In your article here, you said if you can find a way around the transaction fees.. the financing minimums could drop from $99 to even lower. People easily sign up for things too when the price is $10–$20(adobe, netflix etc).. so this would be like turning the domain business into a subscription/financing model. Except you're renting to own. That lower price will be tough with fees so let's see. @LaszloSchenk

I only use the term "subscription" as it comes to the psychological part of it-not the model itself. A buyer would find it more alluring paying a small sum monthly. It feels easier or more manageable to jump into a sale. Like i could easily subscribe for adobe photoshop, at the low fee, rather than paying thousands to own it off the back. Though you never own it..yet it still feels easy to jump into at a small monthly fee. It's just the psychology behind it. Plus with this..the buyer owns the name at the end of the financing period or earlier if they click the "buy now."

so I understand about 100 K .de domains are listed at dan
about 5% are mine

I have heard:
Mike Man owns about 300 K domains and sells about 5 to 10 per day
most of them for huge amounts

so I would expect at least 2 - 10 .de sales for much lower amounts per day
but when I check your homepage showing sales
I very rarely see .de domains sold.

so what is the typical sell-through rate of .de domains at dan?
and what is a median sales price?

mostly I see longer .com domains selling ( most likely selling for xxx USD)
and .nl and .be domains selling

I don't know a way to find about sales prices
can you give some infos here?
