I usually do outbound marketing for my domains, buyers reply "I am interested " or "what are the next steps to proceed " after I reply them with next steps , my reply would be domain registrar details, transfer details and payment details.

But after my reply they disappear, why this happened?. What would be your custom reply for "I am interested" to close the deal?

sounds like you need to price your domain's as Buy Now. with the sweet spot. also always provide options for lease and Comps.

invite them to use Namebio.

of course this course of action means you have to be confident in your domain's value based on Comps.

All my initial outbound mails are with buy now prices. Only after agreeing for the price I get the reply" I am interested " prices are usually low to high xxx in rare cases lowxxxx

How would you reply?

That's ODD. they agree already to price then disappear? I don't see why they would do that.

eeehh. Buyers are ODD by nature. Skiddish.

Can't really predict who will follow thru.

I HAVE had my time wasted many times. Seems like some buyers wanna lead you on thinking you got a sale. They feel justified since you've wasted their time reaching out to them.

Try Buy Now with a link to wherever you sell. Such as Escrow, Sedo, Afternic etc.

If I get the reply "I am interested" and then the buyer later disappear it may mean that there could have been a change of mind. In other words, he is no longer interested. A follow up phone call would perhaps be my next step. It's best to have the expertise on how to convince the buyer.

Sometimes buyers use the trick to beat down price

will a buyer click on it or he may think it can be some virus link

Perhaps you make it sound either too complicated with the transfers , pushes etc , or maybe appear not 100% trustworthy. Try using an established venue for payment like afternic.

How often do you receive interest followed up with them vanishing? Without reading an actual example of your reply it is impossible to know what might be the issue.

Is it possible your reply email on the "next steps" is too lengthy or confusing for some? If so, try to keep it short, direct, and on point, IMO.

perhaps it would be better to just send them the invoice and explain after you've been paid...

Wouldn't that be too desperate? just send them a invoice without responding them in mail

Yeah I mean you certainly will say a few words but not go into details which will make it sound like it's too much work...

If they are leaving after an agreement than you are not selling it hard enough.
It might sound like a harsh critical response, but it's the truth.

Let me ask you a quick question, and I know you wont have to think about this long...
"would you abandon your own mother?"

If you are like 95% of people in this world, then you likely would not abandon your mother.

Point being, make them love that domain like they love their own mother and close the deal.

To me it seems that you have sanitized the process too much with almost no emotional connection. It's sales, get them emotional and nobody will abandon your sale.

I have never had someone say yes to a sale then walk away when I use sales strategy.

Awsome, I get your point. If you can give me some tips on this how to make the buyer get emotionally connected. can you share some tips from your sales strategy.

Thanks.

I wouldn't just send an invoice as form of closing a sale. Somebody sending me a bill without immediate delivery, just isn't good business. Pick up the telephone and call them, but when you call- ask first if it is a good time to talk- so if they are busy you don't want the rejection- and finding a better time to talk will insure their full attention. Next once you have qualified their ability to pay and authority to purchase, start by assisting them (or their technical contact) in registering a new account by walking them through the process: This does several things- you build confidence in your buyer, they begin to trust you, you prove how easy the process is for themselves and you are able close the sale. Sending emails back and forth it's much easier for the buyer to dismiss you.
