RE: Autonomous & Driverless car domains

Seems like there's a lot of news lately, as recently as the last few days, of advances in driverless & autonomous cars. There are multiple auto makers getting ready to launch some form of these cars, and of course, Google is working on their project car.

I have a handful of domains related to this news & technology, and I am wondering if anybody else has any? Also, any spike in traffic to your domains, or news of sales???

Self-Driving Grocery Vehicles Introduced in Norway
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2016-11/12/c_135824781.htm

The idea is to use the already existing automatic and self-driving functions to deliver groceries in a simpler and cheaper way. - Kolonial CEO

In the very near future, companies will be looking to differentiate their offerings by delivering them in self driving vehicles, the likes of which we've never seen before. Professionals and services will bring their goods to you, or bring you along for the ride while you take in their service offering.

I registered some names inspired by this news:
selfdriving groceries, supermarket, pub, lounge, cafe, coffee, coffeeshop, diner, restaurant, restaurants, laundromat, laundry, drycleaner, drycleaning, florist, flowers, mover, gym, spa, salon, stylist, barber, massage, dentist, vet, therapist, church, casinos (all in .com)

By thinking along these lines, there are many other domains one could take a flyer on.

Tech Giant Baidu Now Testing All-New Self-Driving EVs

As part of its push to have fully autonomous vehicles ready for use by 2018 (for eventual use in a public shuttle service), the Chinese tech giant Baidu has begun testing specially modified all-electric Chery EQs in China, according to recent reports.

Previously, the company had been relying on specially modified BMW 3-Series vehicles for the testing of its autonomous driving technologies, so the news seems notable since it implies an electric self-driving shuttle service is getting quite a bit closer.

AMG confirms 4WD for 1,000bhp+ Mercedes hypercar

Mercedes AMG boss reveals the secrets behind 2018’s most anticipated street-machine

Mercedes-AMG’s philosophy – though you might not think so – isn’t just about crude, unfiltered and vastly overpowered machinery. No, the company philosophy is about a balance of performance that encompasses handling, power and feel.

Try to keep that in mind as we rifle through some of the key performance parameters on one of the most anticipated street-legal machines of recent times. Because the upcoming AMG hypercar will boast more than 1,000bhp and feature a new four-wheel-drive system.

Speaking to TopGear.com, AMG boss Tobias Moers confirmed that the combined power output of his new hypercar will pack a 1.6-litre V6, MGU-H and MGU-K, together providing a nice, round, haymaker of a figure.

“It will be that exact engine from the F1 car,” explains Moers, “although we’ll have to lower the compression ratio and change the idle speed, because 3,000rpm is a little high for a street-legal car.”

I don't like the word autonomous.

By intuition automation implies programmed 'if - then' processes, like machines in factory. The cars actually have AI learning. Driving is too dynamic to program every exacting situation and appropriate response. Would you describe learned recognition and reaction as 'autonomous'? The cars don't even assume they know their exact position.

Renault unveils stunning autonomous and all-electric GT concept: Trezor

The 2017 ZOE with ~200 miles of range on a 41 kWh battery pack is definitely the more practical electric vehicle Renault introduced at the 2016 Paris Motor Show today, but the French automaker is also showcasing its commitment to EVs at the higher end of the market with a stunning new all-electric GT concept: Trezor.

The Trezor is a two-seater electric largely based on the coupé DeZir concept unveiled back in 2010, but with an electric architecture.

It features a giant and impractical one-piece door, but it is a perfect to showcase the elegant interior with a dashboard made from red wood that incorporates a luggage compartment at the front of the vehicle and deep-red leather everywhere.

Finally, Renault says that the Trezor “embodies Renault’s vision of how autonomous cars can make travelling safer and more enjoyable, while allowing motorists to optimise how they use their time”.

It would feature the company’s MULTI-SENSE system, which is currently under development with Nissan’s own self-driving program. Like Nissan’s, it offers a choice of three driving modes: neutral, sport and autonomous.

The automaker says that its autonomous mode is a ‘hands-off / eyes-off’ system and it could be available as soon as 2020.
