For resale they are worthless imo.

Unless of course they actually mean something like bird.tv , or unless you have a plan to develop them into a brand with a great site, in pure reseller terms they are not worth anything at all imo.

dogs.tv imo is the best 4 letter .tv out there

as far as reg fee names i can think of names like inks.tv that dottie has, caps.tv is a good one..

i havent done much research into 4 letter .tv names so i cant be sure on things...

yeah the bird.tv is a nice name and only at 250 a year... but as far as reg fee stuff, not quit sure how much is out there

then we have names like hats.tv which is a bargain price of 10k a year thats open and will stay open..

as far as numbers go i wouldnt think it would be worth something.. ex 1987.tv could be on wallstreet crash or a historic year maybe i see but for flipping things i wouldnt suggest... many more top names out there selling at low prices imo and will continue to see undervalued names being unloaded...

On four numbers I am very happy with 2011 and 2018 and think that years 'to soon come' have a very good value (ie 2010 to 2020) Most other numbers I don't have a personal interest in but can see that some (but only a rare few) could have value.

On four letters, I think non dictionary, non brandables are, at this moment in time, quite useless. If anyone could sell names like TZRM.tv or YPWX.tv for anything above a dollar I would consider that the sale of the century!

My own favourite four letter names are MILK, SCOT, EINS, and RUFC

Ones I would love to own would include FILM.TV, TOWN.TV, ROME.TV, RENO.TV, PETS.TV etc. There are so many.

Random 4 numbers? No value here.

It would probably take words like VIEW.TV or NUDE.TV to have any considerable value in the current market.

In the available thread DOCK.TV was recently listed, yet it remains available. Considering the commercial uses of the domain I personally think it's as valuable as many registered premium 4-letter names. I've also noticed other 4-letter dictionary names regularly drop and remain available. This tells me that interest in non-video related LLLL dictionary words is very weak.

In conclusion, it would seem that random LLLLs are worthless and many non-video related LLLL dictionary words are currently around reg fee.

I have a few (4) character #'s & letter combo's

OH10.tv << represents the state of ohio
UK24.tv
NY24.tv

then we have meaningless stuff like the following:

GiGZ.tv
WKRZ.tv
ollo.tv

More than likely they are all worthless regz unless developed..

Although I was offered a few hundred buckz for UK24 a few months ago..
but im not in the resale biz..

I don't think much of random letters / numbers ... Apart from those that actually mean something.
I don't own any at this time.

really, the only .tv that are valuable are if a media company or person would start a channel on them.

does 0398.tv seem like a good channel? or does jkhu.tv seem like a good channel... no i dont think so. Dogs.tv, its obvious why that would be a channel, cause it sounds and looks like a channel... about dogs. Easy as that.

That goes for 0398 & jkhu.com aswell, thats a no brainer.. Its more than just key wordz like dog or beer... You need to conect purpose with the extension..

We are talken about 4 digit .tv's here and therez tonz of good onez out there still to be hand reged..

I dont sell dot TV's but i do get offers now and then and I paid 39 buckz for UK24.tv and have been offered 300 buckz for it..

Agree with many of the comments. Random 4 letter/4 number combos are worthless from a reseller perspective. Unless, of course, they represent the abbreviation of your company or service. (the same would also apply to random 3 letter domains, only more so since they are premiums, with a few exceptions)

Meaningful words and expressions are a different story - especially if standard registration, and more so if they fit the extension.

I have a few in my portfolio:

SNOG.TV
YARN.TV
VALE.TV (also means OK or value/worth in Spanish)

I think meaning, or at least pronounceables/brandables is important in this category. If I had a really catchy pronounceable without any real meaning to it, I'd probably try to make it into some kind of clever acronym and expend some effort turning it into a meme ;)

Instead,
I own RECs.tv which is an acronym for Renewable Energy Certificates (carbon credits)
which will have to do for now.

I currently hold the following:

kills.tv
dies.tv
pour.tv
zinc.tv

I don't have any random LLLL's or numbers.
