4 dot tvs Afternic listed my LCD in their Showcase I own Trojans, Musicnews and 1999 also. List yours if you own them Thank you.

Great thread Eq... .TV, my favorite extension, i believe it also to be at the start of a new mini gold rush.. Massive now in the UK, loads of tv advertisements going out with the .tv extension.

I seem to be selling them however as fast as i regged them...

Ive even started regged german language .tv's (some corkers available and seemingly outside of verisigns ridiculous pricing radar).. i just literally bagged munchen.tv, fluge.tv, wirklichkeit.tv and also magpies.tv, gunners.tv (the last two soccer clubs). Oh, and also wimax.tv...

Spending again, you'll notice, thanks to oh, that reminds me, better take one of my poker links off my signature cos i just..... Oops, best keep quiet as i signed a privacy agreement. Of course, i remember now....

2 bids on AfterNIC, last was $500. But that's OK 'cuase I'm very patient; you have to be in this game. I reg'ed joy.tv for 3 years because I anticipated that it might take some time for the .TV namespace to mature a bit. I'll wait 10 years if that's what it takes to get a fair price.

In your case, you may take 10 or more years to wait the .TV market taking off easily, only if you keep paying the normal reg fee :hehe:

But in most "premium .tv domains" cases, I think there are very little chances for us who don't have deep pocket to wait for a long time.

Yep EQUITY78 recently I got two offers for DVD from the same company currently setting up a DVD e-commerce based on a revolutionary concept.They have evaluated that this .tv name would be an important aquisition for their visibility on the web. First offer was US$15K, second was US$17K, awaiting for the next one meeting my requirement ! LCD is also a great name, a 3 letter fitting perfectly the extension, excellent OVT & Google scores : sure you get offers in a very near future.
I fully agree with AMCY, no speed no stress this is a patient investment as long as we can afford renewal fee In my view worth investing in 1 good name than registering series of word combinations. Yes premium generic domains can be expensive but there are still good names available for decent reg fee. By the way is there a way to get list of dropped .tv names ?

I own musics.tv, I once got a $2500 offer. The reg fee is $100/year, yes, it is $100 from the first day, I don't know why. GD refused to put the domain on their site, maybe I'm asking for too low ?? ($10,000)

Great Domains also rejected a .TV name that I recently sold for mid $x,xxx. Great Domains offers great exposure and can sometime setup a great sale, but their selection process is weird.

They obviously consider your name premium if you are paying $100/year for it, so I am not sure why Verisign wouldn't accept it @ their Great Domains site. Once again: weird
