I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

And like the Germans (in WW2) the Russian people are going to live with this decision for a long time unfortunately.

There has been nothing even close to this in a social media era.

Now we have the new swastika. The parallels are very similar to WW2.

Russia is so scared of dissent and the truth getting out, they have shut down any independent media, arrested thousands and thousands of dissenters, blocked access to social media sites like Twitter and YouTube, and now are considering just disconnecting from the internet? Joseph Goebbels would be so proud.

Brad
Yeah it's like we are seeing nazi Germany in real time via social media in 2022. What distubs me though is how many Russians support it, they are that controlled/brain washed by Russian state media they don't even know.

But for all that we still see some humanity in Russia, which still gives me a little hope:-

Take it in mind these are not protestors in western nations, where they just let them get on with it or released within hours, these people are risking 15 years hard labour in a Russian siberian prison.

This seems like Russia's military strategy at the moment -

Sure dude.

President Trump was impeached (the first time) for withholding Congressionally approved aid to Ukraine, in an extortion/blackmail attempt of Zelenskky. He is now a world hero, while Trump is a whiny putz still praising Putin.

So yeah...

I'm not going to play the strawman talking points game. Let look at the actual facts that prevented / enabled democrat ally Putin.

Trump: ( not in order )

Policy of energy independence for the USA.
Urged Europe not to buy gas / oil from RU.
Sanctions on RU businesses, energy projects, Putin and his oligarchs.
Sent deadly weapons to Ukraine.
Forced NATO countries to meet their obligations
Killed hundreds of Russian soldiers in Syria.
Diplomatic success of recognizing Israel weakened Putin's pupets in the M.E., enabled peace talks between Israel and Arab states. ( google it )

Obama, ( let's keep it short, though the list is long ):

Did nothing when Putin invaded Crimea.
Strengthened Putin allies in the M.E. including Iran.
Refused to give weapons to Urkaine.
V.P. Blackmailed Ukraine government for personal gain.
V.P.'s crack addict son given no-show position on board of energy company.

Biden:

Removed sanctions / tariffs.
Enabled Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
Asked PUTIN to help USA negotiate nuclear deal with IRAN.
Refused to act on any sanctions before the invasion of Ukraine.
Diplomatic blunders, including using the term "minor incursion" when speaking of possible US response to an invasion of Ukraine.
Delaying sanctions on Russia after the invasion.
Weak and confused leadership.

Biden helped pull the world wide coalition together. Trump was busy trying to break coalitions, including pulling out of NATO.
This is a democrat fabrication. Trump threatened NATO and forced members, most importantly GERMANY to pay their share and contribute to NATO.

Trump left NATO stronger than he found it.

It's a real bummer for Putin that his buddy is no longer President.

Brad

LOL.

Obama kisses Putin's ring.

Remember this? It was one of the most embarrassing days in modern US history. I mean, not quite as embarrassing as the 1/6 Trump lead insurrection, but it's up there.

Trump sides with Russia against FBI at Helsinki summit

The two people Trump called "genius" together. Trump being completely subservient.
Beta male.

Brad

You mean the FBI that didn't investigate Hillary or her staff when they destroyed phones, text messages, email?
The same FBI that facilitated spying on Trump? The FBI lead by disgraced James Comey?

LOL. After a dozen investigations, the "Muller report" staffed by the most partisan prosecutors imaginable and you're still crying about Trump.

Biden is President. Biden enabled Putin. It's clear Biden doesn't have the mental capacity to be President and the same team the enabled dictators during Obama's term are at it again.

Stop crying about Trump. Stop quoting left-wing rags who's sole purpose was to discredit him.

"After face-to-face talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mr Trump contradicted US intelligence agencies and said there had been no reason for Russia to meddle in the vote."

We now know, thanks to recent indictments, Hillary and her lawyers were behind this nonsense.

Why are you surprised Trump agreed that Russia didn't help him win? The radical left media gave him HUNDREDS of hours of free publicity during the republican primary.

Hillary's campaign amounted to driving around the country in a black-van, avoiding the media and passing out.

Me, Biden is a fool and enabled Putin.

Brad. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BUT TRUMP!!

That doesn't change the fact, Biden is a corrupt failure as President. Maybe you can afford $7.00 /gal for gas, most middle class families can't.

This war has to be devastating to the anti-democracy, pro-fascism, pro-Putin wing of the GOP.

It is amazing how fast many of the GOP Putin apologists, both pundits and politicians, are starting to backtrack. It is almost like they realize their support of Putin is not popular with the vast majority of the general public.

Sounds like what someone who has lost the debate would say.

As far as gas prices go, I am willing to pay what it takes to stop a tyrant from starting WW3...but muh gas prices!!!

I know to some conservatives the idea of personal sacrifice for a greater cause is such a foreign concept.

I am honored to be a citizen of a country on the list.

Also, it has to be devastating to China that Russia recognized Taiwan's independent status.

Get over yourself. This isn't about your deflection to Trump or winning a debate. It was weak leadership the enabled Putin.

Joe Biden can barely speak, he isn't running anything.

No. I can own you all day, all week if you want.

Embarrassing... It's a sad day when the pro-Putin wing has to take ownership for their reckless comments.

Trump declares Putin "genius" -

“I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius.’ Putin declares a big portion of Ukraine — Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful,” Trump told a conservative podcaster in an interview published Tuesday.

"I said, 'How smart is that?' And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. ... We could use that on our southern border," the former president said, describing Putin as “a guy who’s very savvy” and whom he knows “very, very well.”

The Russian Ruble has plunged even further against the dollar, hitting record lows, as talk grows over possible sanctions against Russian energy. The US dollar/Russian Ruble is currently trading at around 155, meaning $1 is worth 155 rubles.

Before the conflict with Ukraine began, it was trading between 70 to 80 rubles to the dollar. On Monday's lows, the Russian ruble has lost 90% of its value against the US dollar since the beginning of the year.

"Democrats will find you guilty of treason if you don’t hate Putin;" Talk about an endorsement.

Are we talking about Trump, Biden or Ukraine?

Your posting a lot of spin about Trump, who isn't President. Is deflecting the best you can do to defend Joe Biden?
