I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

Via Yahoo: Zelensky said he has cooled off about joining NATO , perhaps the upcoming talks between Russia - Ukraine can bring an ending to the conflict … Zelensky should have backed off the NATO allegiance when Putin was fuming about it, not back down, but off and revisit joining NATO after Putin settled down , Putin wanted NATO off Russias door step
People can argue about Ukraine joining NATO or not. But you cannot start and invasion and mass bombing innocent civilians just because you don't like what your neighbours "wish to do in future".
1. Nobody is going to invade Russia, with Ukraine in NATO or without Ukraine.
2. I can agree with your comment. Knowing what kind of "person" is Putin (mass killing civilians in Chechnya and Syria), yes, Ukraine president could have waited for that.
3. NATO is already in Russia's door (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Turkey). Ukraine joining NATO would not change nothing at all.
4. NATO is not the cause why Putin has invaded Ukraine. His desire to "unify" the Soviet Empire is the reason. Add it to the propaganda Putin has self believed that Ukraine "is part of Russia" and there you have the reason.
5. What Putin wants for Ukraine is to be a puppet state, like Belarus. Denazification? No man, what Putin really hates is Democracy in Ukraine.

And so Russia is worried about their security if Ukraine becomes part of NATO which is going to bring NATO even closer to Moscow.
Russia worried about their security? Are you serious? Who is going to attack Russia? Nobody.
Ukraine is a sovereign country and has the right to enter NATO if they want. That would piss off Putin, but looking what's happening right now, it seems that Ukraine had some reason willing to join NATO. Now it's being invaded, mass bombed and sieged by Putin's army.
By the way, Putin's propaganda saying "Russia never started a war in their history" "Russia never invaded another country" just false propaganda. Stalin did invade Poland together with Hitler. They both started ww2.
Another of Putin's propaganda. He likes to go back in history and say that Ukraine never has been a country and it has been part of the Soviet Union.
So, why don't we go back a bit more in time? Ukraine is a country of 1,000 years history. Kiev was a big city while Moscow was just a small village and Russia didn't exist.

They are also using siege tactics and shutting off access to water, heat, power, medicine, food, etc. That is not collateral damage; that is by design.

This is on top of indiscriminately shelling areas that have no military connection such as apartment buildings, schools, shopping venues, city centers, etc.

They have been attacking civilians fleeing, mining escape routes (according to Red Cross).

Again, in a social media era where so many people have phones in their hands, it is going to be vary hard to hide war crimes on a large scale.

“ Ukraine rejects Russian offer to let civilians flee to Russia”

🤨
Russians are not allowed speak about whats happening in Ukraine unless they call it a 'special operation' to *cough* denazify Ukraine, Russian peoples phones are being checked by police as they walk the streets, reporters not allowed to report and internet even more restricted so what does all that say?

Says to me they are not going to let Ukrainian refugees come into Russia and mix with Russians who Putin and Russian soliders have been slaughting like its open season.

It's like nazi Germany saying to Jews 'my door is open' whilst holding the gas chamber door open.

How gullible do you have to be to believe this offer was even serious?

@Jurgen Wolf

This only proves that anyone is capable of killing,

Although I understand your sentiment and frustration with what is happening to Ukraine and I do sympathize with what the people over there are going through,

But as a Ukrainian you will serve your people better if you think about how to find a cure for War because from the looks of it this conflict is going to last for many more years and many more people are going to get killed.

IMO
You have some nerve telling a countryman how to react to war in his own country, whilst you sit behind the comforts of your keyboard a continent away. A real piece of work. You would serve yourself better if you stopped telling people how to think, talk or react in ways that don't coincide with your misguided ideals.

These are some of the troops that Putler sent to completely destroy Mariupol. Celebrating they have destroyed the city.

The nightmares these soulless harbingers of evil will endure for the rest of their lives for the horrors they committed is evident in the bottomless depths of their vacant eyes. They will never know sleep, nor peace, again. As it should be.

Why do you have to go out of your way to make my vision look wrong without even engaging in any debates or discussions about it.

Consider this as my last warning to you and anyone else who wants to drop by for the sole purpose of dishing out some hate towards me or others.
Oh, I have no interest in pointless engagements. Unless of course, you wanted to step off of that tall horse you're galloping about on, to and fro, and onto solid ground for a dose of reality.

A reality where it's ok for someone to make poignant, opinionated observations without being given ultimatums. Or, perhaps ultimatums are part of your vision to "better" humanity. We've seen where that leads though..

What was that about last warnings?

So you don't blame the NATO at all for having a design on Russia and China for the past decade or so to undermine their way of life and government.

Their way of life? If you ask if I have any respect for dictators and autocrats who oppress their people, steal the country's values, do not allow free media and do not respect human rights, then the answer is a clear no - NATO is a defense alliance and has never threatened either Russia or China directly, but of course works on Western values and believes that all countries have their right to self-determination and this also applies to Ukraine

Referencing anonymous wiki as a credible information source, I see. :)
True. I am sure some random dude spreading Russian disinformation on a random domain forum is far more credible than Wikipedia...

I'm sorry someone disagreed with you. I hope you find the strength to carry on.
I see you got a bit angry because someone is telling you some thruths about your beloved Trump here... better continue in the political thread, there you have plenty of friends sharing your love for Trump AKA "waaaaah whaaaaaa I lost the elections, someone has stolen them!" LOL. :xf.wink: (y)

My belief is far from the truth just like yours
I believe what my eyes show me and not what Putin tells me and due to free press/social media my eyes have seen more than enough to make my own judgements, Russians are not allowed to see for themselves what is happening unless its state controled lies/propaganda.

Don't you ever think and put 2+2 together?

Russia a no-show at UN court hearings on Ukraine invasion

Vladimir Putin has said Russia's "special military action" is needed "to protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide" — meaning those whose first or only language is Russian — in Eastern Ukraine.

Russia boycotted hearings at the UN's highest court on Monday during which Ukraine is seeking an emergency order to halt hostilities, arguing that Moscow has falsely applied genocide law in justifying its invasion.

The hearings were held at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, Netherlands, without legal representation for Russia.

"The fact that Russia's seats are empty speaks loudly. They are not here in this court of law: they are on a battlefield waging an aggressive war against my country," Ukrainian envoy Anton Korynevych said.

He urged Russia to "lay down your arms and put forward your evidence."

The problem is with other countries facing no consequences for the damage they've done.
No other country has done the targeted massacre of civilians that your leader is causing now, since Hitler.
No other country has invaded a sovereign democracy and started to mass kill its civilians, constantly targeting and shelling civilian buildings, hospitals, supermarkets, schools.

No other country has besieged big cities, cut off water, food and electricity supply while daily bombing its civilians, with the only aim to terrify, starve and kill the highest number of civilians as possible, since Hitler.

Putin aggression is a terrorist aggression over ukrainian population, not a war. Because in a war, the military does not target civilians on purpose like what is doing the russian dictator.

The best part of this, you convinced yourself I like Trump because I tell the truth about him.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Teaser GIF

Next time, I'm going to make you post facts to support your bigotry.
Man, get over it. Trump lost two years ago... he tried to overcome the results by all means... he cried with all his forces... but thankfully democracy prevailed. It was shameful as f*ck how he cried, but finally he got it.

Trump pushed QAnon and 4chan-created conspiracy theories in Georgia call

https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/intern...ted-conspiracy-theories-georgia-call-n1252769

President Donald Trump cataloged a series of false conspiracy theories during an hourlong call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Saturday in which he sought to overturn the state's election results, and they were familiar to anyone following the far fringes of the internet.

Trump floated fragments of several baseless conspiracy theories that were primarily pushed by QAnon followers over the last two months, including a widely debunked theory about voting machines from Dominion Voting Systems.

We have to know the facts , the Ukraine military was fully aware that the Russians would enter into the cities , could it be that Ukraine military was harboring in those buildings ??? We need facts to know

The fact is, Putin rolled his tanks into Ukraine and began killing.

China has chosen to support Russia all the way

I'am not sure that this will prevent russia from becoming giant north korea with military focused economy

also china is far from being a friend to russia - they use the conflict for their own advantage like buying oil with huge discount, since now its one of the few countries russia could export its resources to..

Totally agree with every word this brave woman said. Hopefully her message has reached many Russian people and they start opening their eyes against the war crimes that the current russian Hitler is commiting against innocent civilians in Ukraine.
Yeah hopefully. This woman was willing to risk everything to do this, not only her job but 10 or 15 years of her life and possibly even her life, she knew the risks and still did it anyway.

It’s one of the bravest things I’ve seen throughout this conflict and it came from the Russian side.

Bro, stop it now! USA has done ALL of that a MILLION times, period.
Bro, Putin is the only terrorist that has done it before, in Syria and Chechnya.

Ukrs are committing genocide of their own people.
Bull Sh*t!! Like Ukranians literally just started killing themselves once Russia invaded, c'mon man?
There is a high probability that UKR fascists used TochkaU missile to false flag Russ army in Kramatorsk.

Another dirty step to genocide own population.
BS again... just like the false flag in your avatar.

LMAO, why you are down voting, as if this helps to deny the fact that in some areas of UA russian soldiers are actually welcomed. Cancel culture at its best?

Could more be because of your bs comment "majority of Ukrainians actually welcome their liberators".

I had a lot of respect for you in the Environmental thread, but here I have noticed that you have been using every opportunity to devalue my efforts as a Human Rights activist and now are doubting my vision for the future of Humanity and our Home Planet, I can only assume that it's because that it doesn't fit with your political agendas and interests.
Nah, you've become proficient at doing that all on your very own. Have you considered that your vision is warped? Kudos on starting the thread though. I appreciate all the input/news on here, believe it or not it is my main source of what the hell is going on, in hell.

Just a little heads up, this production video is not as cheerful or as uplifting the last one I posted. War is an awful way for humans to treat each other, regardless of side/position. No matter where (or when) it happens, the smallest ones tend to suffer the most as their minds aren't prepared or advanced enough to deal with the trauma. I can't help but feel extreme sadness for the children that are trapped in the war zone(s),

"Courageous Russians are not only taking to the streets in Moscow and St. Petersburg to demonstrate against the war in Ukraine. Also in West Siberian Novosibirsk, generally a "rebellious" city, there were protests today with "No to the war" calls."

Hitler did it once, invaded, sieged and bombed Ukraine, now Putin is doing the same.

in Germany we can't see a difference between those 2 aggressors no more

both mad and evil guys
who are doing damage to the world

again:
you all never forget Hitler's actions when talking to me

so why should not all Russians be equally responsible for Putin's action as I am in your eyes for Hitler's?
The difference is: they live now and can act now - I was born after the war ends. No choice left.

>>Meanwhile, Russians are going full Syria mode in Ukraine. That's how Ukrainian city of Chernihiv loos after the raid of Russian bombers. Residential buildings burnt with all the people who lived there. Debris and corpses lie on what used to be the city streets<<
