Hong Kong (CNN)
Hong Kong police have issued arrest warrants for six overseas-based democracy activists who are alleged to have breached the city's newly imposed
national security law, according to Chinese state media. The six include United States citizen and resident Samuel Chu and
Nathan Law, of the UK.
So now the CCP are issuing international warrants for the arrest of people who don't even live in China for supporting freedom. Some weaker countries may observe these warrants under Chinese pressure.
But who started this? The USA - Assange being the prime example. Kim Dotcom another. People who have never even set foot in the US, arrested on behalf of the US for "breaking US law." There are many other examples.
Throughout history laws have been seen as ending at the borders of a nation. Or at least with the citizens of that nation. No longer. The US see its laws as universal law, to be applied wherever and whenever they want around the world. Again, Americans don't care about this. And even when an American is arrested and dragged/kidnapped into China, the media will never note that the trend was started b the US itself.
