Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

You have to price domains in terms of now. What if’s don’t mean anything. Thinking years out will burn you real quick!I believe any acquisition attempts now are pre-launch and should not be negotiated in present term. There may be 12-24 months of holding before the market can react to competition. In other words, price your domains as if you were in 2018-2019 and HOLD.

You have to be ready to answer the million dollar question, or the thousand dollar question. Is your domain worth rejecting a fair offer today? It’s a gamble that science can’t answer.I would agree most domains need to be priced for now.
In terms of good generics, if you can hold a bit longer it's almost always worth it. The end market is expanding constantly and more players are entering that market to serve it. Given most direct and related industries cannot advertise, domains are going to play a huge role in brand growth. This industry has a huge issue with counterfeit products, I have a client in California who is dealing with a harsh reality of not owning the exact match domain. Anyone can just call themselves that name and appear more established by owning the .com - Again, this is just my personal experience. I've placed quite a few names in this space already. Not intended as investment/sales advise.
Until I can make enough to cover the renewals for a few years on all my domains, I'm pricing for now. Once I make enough to cover the renewals, then I may price for later.I believe any acquisition attempts now are pre-launch and should not be negotiated in present term. Sometimes what’s in front of you right now is the best you’ll ever see

Kinda curious here, are you planning to register more "strain domains"?Regged a strain domain - YodasBrain.com
