Recently YoungIndia.com was reported sold for $6,000 on Sedo ( Recent DNJournal coverage as on 17th September 2025). That sale caught my attention, because it showed how powerful India + brand combinations can be in the global market.

I own IndiaOnAi.com, which I believe may carry even greater strategic value — especially as India positions itself as one of the fastest-growing AI hubs worldwide.

Originally, I had IndiaOnAi.com listed at $2,199 BIN. But after seeing the YoungIndia sale, I decided to reposition this domain at a premium level. It’s now live at $6,888 BIN (with minimum offer $3,000) across Sedo, Afternic, DaaZ, and my portfolio site.

Here’s why I believe this makes sense:

  • India + AI is a future-ready global brand concept.
  • .com is universal, trusted both globally and locally.
  • Comparable sale: YoungIndia @ $6,000 proves demand for India-centric .coms.
  • AI growth in India: Outpacing many global markets, with billions in VC and government initiatives.

👉 I’d love to hear from fellow domainers:

  1. Do you agree IndiaOnAi.com is correctly priced at $6,888 compared to YoungIndia’s $6,000?
  2. Would you keep BIN or go for auction/broker strategy at this stage?
  3. Have you sold “India + vertical” domains before, and what worked best for you?

This is not a sales thread, just sharing strategy and learning from your insights.

Thanks for sharing your view, Biggie 🙏. I agree that every name has its own uniqueness. My thought was that both YoungIndia.com and IndiaOnAi.com connect strongly with India’s future — one through identity, the other through technology. With India moving so fast in AI, I see great potential in names like mine. Happy to hear more perspectives!

I agree with @biggie

And to @CashproofDomains.com I'd suggest to LEARN from his comment, and register better domains.

This domain is nothing more than an awkward mash‑up of words.

Thanks for your response and opinion. I take it positively. I have revised the price keeping in mind the massive future revolution in AI and its adaptability in a country with 2nd highest number Internet users of the world. Not in a hurry to sell it. Price reduction still doesn't make it a good domain.

So why are you asking here?
I feel it’s important to first read the post completely, particularly the last three points where I asked for opinions and experiences from fellow members of this great forum. The main idea was to compare YoungIndia.com with IndiaOnAi.com and invite constructive discussion, not just to make an out of context statement.
Here are those 3 important points:
• Do you agree IndiaOnAi.com is correctly priced at $6,888 compared to YoungIndia.com at $6,000?
• Would you keep BIN or go for auction/broker strategy at this stage?
• Have you sold “India + vertical” domains before, and what worked best for you?

I’d prefer the discussion to stay focused on domain value and market trends rather than going off-topic. Constructive insights are always welcome.

You've had multiple experienced members answer your first question, they don't see YoungIndia.com as a valid comparable and think the core quality of your domain is the issue.

If you keep re‑stating your original position and re‑posting the same questions, it comes across as if you're not actually here to weigh different viewpoints, only to get agreement. That's why people are pushing back.

If you want constructive discussion, it helps to engage directly with the specific critiques (e.g., why they see it as an awkward mash‑up, why the comp doesn't work) rather than circling back to the same talking points.

I value all the feedback shared here 🙏, even when opinions differ. Just to clarify my comparison with YoungIndia.com:
  • That domain sold for $6,000 on Sedo (reported in DNJournal)a confirmed market fact.
  • IndiaOnAi.com has an independent appraisal of $4,633 (Dynadot), which supports my BIN of $6,888.
I respect that not everyone sees the same value — that’s the nature of domaining. But dismissing IndiaOnAi.com as “unrelated words” overlooks how strongly India + AI + .com aligns with real-world demand today.

👉 For transparency: I’ve submitted IndiaOnAi.com to Sedo Brokerage just few minutes back, so their brokers will test the market directly with AI companies and investors. That will give a clear real-world benchmark. Will definitely update here the outcome which is expected within 5-7 working days.

I’d still welcome constructive input:
  • Is BIN + Reserve the right path, or would auction create more traction?
  • Have you sold “India + vertical” domains before — what worked?
  • If you were an end-user in AI, how would you position this name?

At this point, it's clear to me that you don't want to grow or learn. Good luck.

He is not trying to learn. He is spamming his name.
Spam the name here with all the bad comments - the thread will be indexed by google.
It's not a smart way to spam.
BTW, looks like you know everything so you don't need to ask anyone.

Hi John
I want to clarify something here for the last time and will not respond you further.

My display name CashProofDomains.com is simply my chosen username — just like many other members use their business or brand names. It was approved by NamePros from the start and it is not a clickable link, nor am I trying to force traffic to my site with no ads to display.

As for the point about Google indexing: I’m fully aware that forum threads are crawled. That’s exactly why I try to keep my discussions professional and transparent. I’d rather have my domains associated with open, constructive conversations than with silence.

Asking for opinions on IndiaOnAi.com and comparing it with a recent Sedo sale is not “spamming”;
it’s exploring value and seeking constructive feedback.

I respect that some may see things differently, and that’s fine. But let’s please keep the conversation focused on domains and constructive advice, which benefits the whole community of this prestigious Platform.
