Unstoppable Domains

You know you're domaining too much when ...

Signs of domaining taking over my life:

1. This morning, I was driving behind a car with the license plate LLL - my mind automatically stuck ".com" at the end of it.

2. As I sat at the computer last night, my wife (watching tv in the living room) called out to me, "Hey, windowiz.tv!" when she saw an ad that listed a .tv domain. (She knows 0 about domains, but she knows I've invested in some .tv's.)

What evidence do you have of your domain obsession?

When you search through listings of non-profit organizations with a .org domain to see if the .com has been registered.

Yes, I know its sad but I do it.

I have done things like that too. Not mainly with domains but with sites etc...

My kid will be on a site and all of a sudden I am sitting in his chair looking at the source code.....lol I can't help it....lol

I also do the domain searches though constantly...lol Drives my family crazy..

That's funny ... just yesterday I picked up a 4-letter .com that is also the initials of two nonprofit orgs (one of which uses the .org). Deciding how much to ask them for the .com. (Might give a lower asking price to the one whose politics agree more with mine.) :)

You write things on your hand constantly as reminders to look them up as domains.

You get up from your warm bed to jot down an idea for a domain name.

You spend 5 hours a day at namepros...
