Am I the only one that feels the numbers and values are looking suspicious. Given xyz history with using smokes and mirrors to market the name space I am a bit sceptical but can be convinced otherwise.
What is your gut feel? Last 2 weeks sales from same person Swetha DNGear
beacon.xyz $24,888
Genisis.xyz $21,399
Patron.xyz $9,888
Protocol.xyz $8,000
Split.xyz $7,888

Make a offer to @DNGear to buy it or broker your names . From my point of view is a trusted person :xf.wink:

I am from domainers who invest in one word ccTLD , or TLD or newTLD & i am good with sales , just sold a ccTLD with 4250 USD ( i will post here or on Namebio when deal is complete - receive the money )

So good for @DNGear doing a great work

Kind regards, to all & remain 5 day's until i guess i will have 10 stars on my profile :-P:xf.smile::xf.grin:

That would be a good idea, however I’m pretty sure Swetha only does inbound sales ... meaning people contact her, and since she has a large portfolio, she is getting sales

My understanding:

1. Namebio verifies the sales or they’re reported by the marketplace or passed via API

2. The names are typically one-word generics, no funny words

3. The names are currently being bought by crypto, defi, NFT startups, who are in a white-hot, well-funded space. Check out beacon for an example. The others are parked or β€œalready sold” so if you’re serious about the truth instead of casting aspersions, check back and verify if they’re developed soon. I’d raise an eyebrow if they were listed for sale again. A bit rich for investor purchases, these prices.

4. If you have an inventory of 15K and can expect a best-case of 1-2% sell through per year, that’s 150-300 per year. So 3-6 per week seems to match up, doesn’t it? Also, don’t get too tied up in the sales price since you don’t know the buying price or what her renewal burden is. A lot of the money also goes back into replenishment and upgrades to inventory plus operations costs. Anyone know if she also has staff she has to pay to help manage this?

At the moment, I have less evidence to disbelieve than I do to believe the sales.

She is posting screenshots of proof instead of only listing the names sold , so obviously they are legit..
Yeah, screenshots are pretty legit.
Look, I've got 25 billion USD offer for google.com from the future! Hooray...

Should be congratulating this person imho any sales in any extension help all of us.
And why would you go to the trouble of posting BS sales.
Just my thoughts.
Cheers.

I believe sales are real. There is no reason to doubt that. This doubt find its roots in jealously. I am proud that she has Indian flag on her dp.
Daily sales or a sale in 2-3 days is 100% possible when you own a portfolio of good domain names > 10000.

One thing which I personally noticed was that some of the best .xyz domain names registered in 2014-15 are available on dan.com and other marketplaces for amounts < 3-4k , but still they are not getting sold. I believe she has been lucky as she is selling for good prices and some of the domains were recently registered in 2020.

She's smart and conquered an entire extension! She saw the vision, and it is now paying off which is the point of it all. Congrats Swetha! We can all learn from you. Thank you for sharing and giving us inspiration. (y)

You obviously havent sent a name to DNJ to get the sale listed on their sales report. Its really not worth the hassle of forging the document, it doesnt earn you anything.

maybe someone here knows how many 1000s she has.. I heard 10 or 20k figures.

either way the renew fees at 20k are 200k per year... so that takes a bunch of sales. to break even.. we dont know her roi end of year... but I'm assuming its positive.

that being said ...if u think of adopting xyz sale strategy.. do the math and understand she owns basically all worth owning.. so u might as well abandon xyz ventures

Go away with your negativity. What you are experiencing is called jealously.

Also some of the sales happened at SquadHelp some at Afternicβ€” are you accusing SH of faking sales?

Please stop attacking the woman domainer who obviously makes alot more than you do. Would you do the same for a man? How about worry about your own sales. Idiot threads like this are why we don’t see more reports.

nobody can criticise or praise this seller without knowing roi end of year.

only then strategy works..if good ROI.. else its failed strategy even with sales

it's that simple. but for some still hard to get.

that said ...its also normal these sales draw attention because she is the only seller on planet to make consistent 4fig xyz sales.

X,XXX domains with BINs and via GoDaddy brokers...
Nothing strange in a few sales monthly per such volume, especially nowadays during cryptobubble times...

People have a right to question anything. Also, would you throw your fit of rage if he was questioning the sales reported by a man? Nobody saw sex or race in this until you showed up.

not sure who u talk about cause I have a non tiny ignore.list.. but whoever it is u really shouldn't respond and dig sex.subject even deeper and now make a dumb talk of it with others... domaining has nothing to do with sex or.race.

everyone with 10 IQ knows it.

the issue here is 2fold..

1. she is the only person on earth making consistent xyz 4fig sales. so drawing attention is normal.

2. it is insane to praise or criticise these sales or strategy without knowing roi end of year. so anybody who says..great sales..great seller etc.. is essentially insane

I'm talking about cryptoholders...
Many of them burn their coins at current rates...

ah ok well that's what I thought but I like to bug u a bit hahah

that being said.. I personally disbelieve crypto boomers buy xyz names.

frankly... to me xyz is mega bad investment.. for buyer and seller..as are all ngtlds... even the .one which is only one I'm invested in ...not 1000s names. but like 20.

I dont get the post?? There is proof of these sales? What is suspicious about it?? Also remember people like Mike Mann with over 350,000 names will obviously have regular sales with that quantity, imagine the renewal fees though? The same applies to dngear, not sure how many names she owns, but I hear its a fair amount, which explains the sales. A much safer strategy is having a lower number of better quality names.
Hi @gilescoley , the premise of my thinking was if only one person is achieving these sales, it’s very easy to create sales between xyz register and a friendly domainer, in that xyz funds the sale but the domainer gives the money back minus commissions for both the selling platform and domainer. Therefore show screen shots β€˜legitimacy’. Don’t cost a lot but creates a lot of hype. Importantly no end user sale no actual use of the domain.
I am a sceptic in this industry given being burnt by Adam Dicker and front running, dead beats, farce at snap names, dicker bidding on goddady auctions whilst an employee, the stuffing of newGTLDs, MMX booking income on Chinese domains that never materialised. It’s a minefield out there. 😁😁

like in any branch or biz there is always some cheating. but unless u can prove something.. it remains non guilty :)
