.mobi When will Sedo show .mobi some respect?

I'm sure Sedo has made alot of money off of .mobi with the number of excellent auctions that have been run through their site. When will they begin to show .mobi some respect?

I noticed that Sedo has changed the display of the extensions in the Advanced Search tab of their auction listings. Here is how it now displays:

Mobi is getting no respect from the Sedo folks. Perhaps if enough of us complain, we could get .mobi moved up above the fold. Who's with me? If we send a bunch of requests in to have it promoted, perhaps they will listen to us.

I'm with you! I noticed that myself and just wondered first of all, why it was listed with the cctld's when it's not a cctld, and second of all, why .name would be at the top of the list before .mobi?!?

I could care less where .mobi is on the drop down list, lol. What I do care about is having 5/5 commpliant parked pages, and making sure they are SE friendly and get indexed. I don't think they are as good as some others on these things.

Break .mobi price record will be my pray, if lower than 100k for any .mobi of this live auction. I will seriously consider to sell my .mobi rather than keep it for meaningless bidder to make offer to me. As I see most of premium .mobi are under the hands of the domainer with no plan in development and hopes to sell it at a crazy price when the .mobi grow. It restricted the big players from using .mobi. Bad omen for us. If it happen, I going to be out of .mobi less than 2 years as few big brand using .mobi if this continue.

In defense of Sedo (my God, imagine me saying that), it is not just a .mobi. If you will notice that on the home page, all the auctions closing are always a .com or .co.uk. I have never seen anything else being featured in the final few hours or minutes.

So it's not just a mobi thing...it's an ignoring everything other than a .co.uk and .com thing.

Now, how's that for "defending" Sedo...they slight everyone.

At the end of the day, market demand controls nothing. As many of the .com folks have said -- traffic is the ultimate control. If .mobi is to succeed, we'll need to one day see traffic. It doesn't really matter what I, you, or anyone on Namepros thinks for that matter -- if top names receive lots of traffic, they will command top dollar.

ARE the top names parked at Sedo getting any traffic? Has anyone clicked on the listings to see? I'm talking premium one words.

That is what I trying to mention. Traffic for extension depend on various information, products and services available for end user. That is why we only discuss .mobi here not .net or .us.

In order for .mobi to success, we dun only need big industry player but middle size industry player to enhance the interest of the end user in using .mobi extension. That is what I wanted to highlight. The available concepts most important
