Perhaps appraisal robots should tell how many buyers there are for the domain and how much they would likely pay

thats right. appraisals do not pay for your domains and do not find you buyers.

I hope one day everyone eliminates the word appraisal from their domaining vocabulary. this includes namepros appraisals as well.
