What would you buy with $500

if you had $500 to invest and wanted to see a quick return what would types of names would you buy?

I think your best bet would be .us or .mobi names -- preferably LLL.mobi or LLL.us. I wouldn't advise investing in other extensions -- $500 doesn't go very far in .com or .net and there's not much of a future (in terms of further profitability over current prices) for most other extensions...

I'm with BinderGang, I would rather have a website that is already getting traffic and revenue.

But if your just talking purely domains, I would register 62 domains @ $8 and try to resale them instead of just buying 1 or 2.

Im with peter, you can score some decent LLLL.com's pretty good, and they seem to be fairly liquid if you know where to move them. And if your smart and or lucky, you might even stumble across a real winner.

I would NOT start registering lots of names, I would save the money for 1 or 2 "good" ones.
