Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Hi, Noob question probably will sound stupid to you. Why do you hide the url letters? is it to avoid spammers or something else?

He didn't. He actually acquired VRXXX.com. Later in thread you will see, he sold it for $10K.

My 2 VR Domain sales this week...

One for low $XXXX (in Escrow process) & a mid $XXX.

(Plus a holo domain sale!)

More to come!! N will update once transaction completes!!

Cheers!!

thanks jase. i dig these communities of interest.

so i started with vr on my search list in 2005-2011 and always liked it, but that was in the days of keywords are everything... so usually was the only snapper or bidder on tdnam.

held, actually dropped prices a couple of times.

then this year ive sold about 10 vr names. vrchat.com being the best.. just got regular money for it which was fine with me. im a fixed price seller. funny buyer never moved the dns so i get about 1 offer a week now... just t remind how good of a name it is.

so im down to about 80 vr names, im selling off 50% of them, then ill reset prices higher with what is left.

just got to where too many to manage.

heres what i have left

https://sedo.com/search/searchresul...4f583d7effbf8e384fc678f877543bb06&language=us

.LA is doing well, picked up innovate.la as a user and theres 3 weeks of big events in la coming up for Innovation Week. plus lots of restaurants, ad agencies, studios etc using .la

and in fact its in LA that VR is really rockin..

lastly took a stab on 3-5 vr.newtlds, had about 10 in my cart til they were grabbed last wednesday.

so im a vr fan, both the of technology and the name

vrui.com is probably my best , looking for about $5k.

page howe

also sold virtualreality.xyz at $399 which was a nice return on the $9

Glad to see a VR veteran here, probably you and @mrcurly have the best domains.
One question: what do you think about AR/augmented domains?

Nice to see a list of reasonably priced vr names. Most of the prices on SEDO are ridiculous.

But how much did you sell VrChat.com for? That must surely be worth $xxx, xxx in a few years time?

That is one of the first realistic priced list a have seen, most of the name could go up by $750 - $1000 and still be in range of reasonable pricing.

I have seen other lists where the seller wants xx,xxx minimum, and the names are not even in the top tier.

Well for one thing... check your spelling before registering unless you meant to register the wrong spelling of exercise. Also, keep in mind that you are late to the party so not much quality lying around- though there are some if you do solid research. That said, no value in the names you've chosen. They don't flow. VrTopMovies? When TopVRMovies is still available and sound better? Just some things to think about.

Ended up buying a new .com today, this has been on my list for quite awhile:

ReenactVR

I've been imagining that one day we can visit historic places and events in VR, and live them out and take part.

I would like to try some Wild West VR experience, play poker in saloons, get in bar fights and gun duels in the street lol.

I'm not sure if anyone has been watching sedo auction daily, but not only has 3L .com's run up even higher, 3L .nets are in at about 1500 (avg).
4L .com's are running higher at 700 - 1000.
When I looked at DNJ sales report for this week, it confirmed that these were indeed true sales.
Just pointing out what I see.
-What conclusions I draw from that.
They are nearing the end of the lower end 3L's (the easy pickings) and have increased competition for them.
The 3L nets are a newer phenomena.
But increases in the avg sale of 4L .com's was not expected by me "YET". There must be more players buying bulk names (competition). Could be a short term thing but I doubt it. I have seen big money and bulk buying strategies before.
