Very Sad Day at our Hotel

This past weekend a very vibrant young man that was only 22 years old and had worked for our hotel since he was 16 years old lost his life in a motorcycle accident. Jason Maiden succumbed to sever trauma after being flown from the accident scene in Niagara Falls Canada to Erie County medical center in the USA.

The death of this well liked young man was a complete shock to all our employee's

Jason was a young family man and did not make alot of money, I and my collegues are considering selling some of domain names and donating all monies raised to his young wife and child.

Jason was covered only under our company blanket insurance plan and they will receive 10,000.00 to cover costs of funeral ect and we the hotel owner group have vowed to match that dollar for dollar and the staff members are also doing a collection that we will also match dollar for dollar.

If we do decide to have a domain sale dedicated to the family of Jason Maiden I would only hope that the good folks here at namepros would be interested in aquiring some quality domain names where all 100% of funds raised would go to his family.

I will not be around for a few days as I will be dealing with the logistics on behalf of the family to get Jason back on Canadian soil however all the arrangements have been made

Motorcycles are undoubtedly the most dangerous means of transportation, especially when handled at a high rate of speed. Even though I'm licensed to drive them, I’ve realized that my safety takes precedence over sheer enjoyment. I am truly sorry about the loss of your colleague and friend.

Fonz, The family requested no donations however the family has been taken care of financially by our business. A College fund have been set aside for th young one courtesy of our business.

I don't know who TT is but I stumbled upon this forum. I don't what, If anything, he is trying to gain by posting what he did as he obviously did not know Jason Maiden or his family.

About the only thing he is right about is that Jason died tragically in a motorcycle accident. He was a great kid and will missed greatly by his family and friends.

The following statments made by TT in his posts are all bogus:
- Jason was not married and did not have any children.
- To my knowledge the hotel is not matching anything dollar for dollar. If they are, God Bless Them.
- The staff to my knowledge have not taken up a collection. If they are, God Bless Them Too.
- You never dealt with any "logistics" to get Jason back to Canada
- The family has not been taken care of financially by your business
- A college fund has not been set up to take care of "the young one" by your business. There is no young one!

TT I don't know what you hope to gain by making posts such as this ... but stop bantering Jason's good name around like you knew him. You obviously don't!

How do I know? I'm his uncle and godfather.

To all of the other posters who have expressed your condolences and prayers to the family. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU! It was a tragedy to lose someone so special at such a young age. Keep praying, the family needs it at this difficult time.
