I wouldn't want to be an academic and put together a study showing something against the wave. But sure would be on board a career building study the along the direction of the wave. So there other ways the cake can be baked.

Law enforcement source tells CNN that they believe the suspect had some previous interaction with an executive at the newspaper. The source cautioned that is preliminary info, and investigation is just in beginning stages.

2- Though my comments were entirely personal, they were not in keeping with the Reuters Trust Principles and my own standards for letting facts, not snap judgments, guide my understanding.

3 - My experience as a member of the community of Newtown, Connecticut in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook tragedy, combined with the possibility that my colleagues in the press were being targeted, pushed me into a state of emotional distress.

4 - I am sorry for my comments, which I quickly deleted and have disavowed, and especially remorseful if they did anything to distract from the thoughts and love we must send to the community of Annapolis.

Sort of “relieved” that it turned out to be a crazy with a long standing grudge against the paper. Still, I have to wonder if irresponsible rhetoric like calling the press “enemy of the people” or that dude advocating shooting journalists prompted him or made him feel entitled to act as he did. Words matter, especially coming from someone in a position of power - POTUS should be more mindful when choosing his.

The irresponsible rhetoric is coming from the Liberal Media, who's job is to be neutral and UNBIASED, which they are NOT and no longer try to hide it. They are supposed to give us the news and facts, not biased opinions, that are always against Conservatives.

This shooting as far as we know, had no political motives, but the Liberals started immediately blaming Trump.

To the MSM it's Trumps fault as usual... so I say: Give them hell Trump...
