SEDO & WII Domain names!!

Just been browsing through Sedo's home page and thought let's have a look at all the wii domains listed.

Is it just me or is something strange going on.

Looking at some of the names with very high traffic stats and offers, there are some very obscure names that seem to have have a lot of offers and traffic.

I would have thought people would be searching for gaming related wii names and not obscure ones. It is not as if many of them have KEWORDS in the name either.

Any thoughts?

Maybe they are using two accounts and bidding on their own domain names and re-directing traffic to make it look popular... just speculation though.

Very true. Its a snare for newbies. Sedo's free account made it possible to rank shill bids on their own names.

Some of the names on "Top Domains" table worth no more than a penny.

Yes looks like fake bids. The only 2 that I know aren't fake are:

wiicheats.com


The rest can be faked with free user accounts. That's why they are not on top if you position your search by "Quality".

Because there his names....funny how he also knows how to manipulate sedo system for such an upstanding guy.

wiicheats.com is not my name.

I consider them genuine because they are the top 2 when you sort by quality. See Sedo has a way of marking which bids are higher quality then others. If you've just signed up and bid then your bid will have less of a quality weight then bids from existing members, that's why some domains that have traffic and bids are on top, yet others are maybe page 5 or 6.

Obviously, people that don't know open their mouths first.

There will be a few Wii domains I would expect would go right away.. others will have to wait until the good ones have dried up. My best in terms of views has been wiigames, wiiconsole, buywii, and wiionline in that order.

I've had 78 views so far, no offers, but I purposely priced mine high to see traffic (just reduced).

I have had wiiwiki.info parked at SEDO for a while now, getting minimal traffic. No offers yet.

You're right, I don't know how to manipulate the system as you have claimed you know how too....

I snagged NintendoWoo.com and NintendoWuu.com hoping for misspellings since 'U' and "O" are on both sides of "I". I'm hoping for someone to appriase it still on another thread.
