Whoever is responsible for protecting their IP/brand is frigging clueless.
Needs to be more communication between the relevant depts.

All potential future WIPOs etc could have been avoided if they registered every conceivable combination before the public announcement.
Not just talking about Nintendo but many others...

As such all the names are crap anyway.
Did they not even consider WIIgames,com etc at the outset ?
WTF were they thinking ?

Let's not forget that Nintendo doesn't necessarily have to "buy" those Wii domains you're holding.. if they own the TM, they can simply send a C&D and require that you either give them the domain and/or stop using it.

Wow I wasn't expecting them to register all of those. I only have one wii name though. wiilegendofzelda.com. I was surprised that no one registered it when I got it. But if I probably waited a couple of hours it would of, because most of the domains I thought up where available when I searched for them, but later that day they were all gone. I was like wow. :D
