SATI.com, transfer cancelled by Sedo.

Regarding the following thread:

I want to share you the updated of that sale:
- First of all I am the winner of that domain, I didn't wish to mention that until I get some feedback and answers regarding that sale.
- I have sent a message to sati.com website asking if they really selling their domain, but with No respond.
- I have sent the following message to Sedo through transfer center:
" I have noticed that there is an active website on sati.com. I am afraid if the domain stolen.
Kindly advice."
But with No respond from them too.
- Today I have found in my Sedo account (transfer center) that the transfer of that domain has been cancelled by Sedo (without any explanation).
- I have left them a message informing about that cancellation, waiting for there respond.
Any feedback with thanks.

same situation i have faced on Godaddy few month before, that domain name is Bops.com, finally i got refund my money after 15days,

GoDaddy is different, they are selling expired domains, if the owner renewed the domain, they will cancel the sale, and issue refund.

Sorry, I thought your issues regarding expired domains.
Yes it happened to me too, but at Sedo, that was the first time.

Happens, unfortunately. Sedo would have sent you the complete info of the seller along with the cancellation notice, so that you can take legal action if you so desired. Other than that, not much else you can do.

I have been on the other end of the situation, My OilDrum.com name was taken out of my account and sold six months before expiry. It took me about 4 months to get the name back, and I was forced to extend the registration by a further year as part of the process.

Note - OilDrum.com is now with Name Silo, and they were not the registrar in question.

That is really crap. It was a week long auction. Why didn't the seller close it down before it ended? Further, that Sedo woman had endorsed it. Not good enough...

I also purchased a domain at a Buy Now price at Sedo recently, but had the transaction cancelled with some lame excuse.

Then a few weeks later, the domain is at Sedo auction and I win the auction at more or less the same price as the Buy Now price. This time seller could not come up with an excuse.

Nothing, the domain still listed for sale there with the same reserve price.
That's not good at all.

I got it back by sending continual email to tech support from the day it was taken out of my account, and through the period when it was transferred to another registrar. I've owned the name since 2002, and at no time has it ever been listed for sale. I have received enquiries, but I am keeping the name for development - I'm just a bit slow in getting round to it.

Hmm, something is not right here. The seller was an error on the listing ... OK. But what about Lianne van Hoorn? She didn't realized the price is wrong? Hard to eat that.
