Need another logo, this time for worldtravels.co.uk

Type of Contest : LOGO Design
Prize : $35
Contest End Date & Time : Tuesday 7th November - 9.00pmGMT
Size Requirements : Open
Color Requirements : Open

General Requirements :
It will be a video clip site of world tourist attractions (youtube like).
Want a logo that is crisp, clean, bright. (be creative).
Don't mind cartoonish.

Thanks for the entries.

I'm not sure that I'm going to want a globe in the logo. The problem is that a globe by default is a large graphic and I think that it detracts from the text.

I'd also like a little more colour and more fun in the logo (these entries are a bit too corporate)

Anmol: thanks for the entry. I think that the graphic element of the logo is a little cluttered and again doesn't really convey a fun site. the text is too plain, needs to be more colourful.

dzynd4u: thanks for the entry. I think that the overall look of this logo is good but it isn't what I'm looking for. It doesn't stand out enough for me, I dont think that the zepelin really conveys what the site is about. I prefer lower case text, which can be stylised.

I have 3 similar video sites in my sig. Don't copy these designs, but they show the sort of styles that I prefer.

dzynd4u: I think that I'm looking for something that symbolises travel rather than the world. Maybe a suitcase, maybe tickets, maybe a plane... I don't want graphics to clutter the logo so it would only be 1 or 2 pics. Afraid I dont really like the colours or arrows of your latest submission, something more vibrant and warm is required.

aznchong91: Sorry, a bit plain. I'm looking for the logo to stand out rather than be subtle. (edit: just noticed the plane though, nice touch)

koncepts: Again, this is a bit corporate and includes the whole globe/arrows theme which I'm not looking for (see above)

dzynd4u: This is getting a lot closer. I like individual aspects of both these styles of logo but there isn't any that I can say 'that's the one' I think that again it's probably the colours.

umxca: very friendly. Unfortunately it doesn't grip me, not sure why though. I do prefer lower case font for the text and the smiley suitcases scare me a bit I'm afraid (they could also be mistaken for shopping bags)

Silense: Sorry but it's not vibrant/colourful enough. It's also edging towards corporate, which is not what I'm looking for.

lloona: thanks for the entry, I'm afraid that these two are a little too basic for the site. I'm not keen on the fonts or colours and the graphics don't work for me.

ami: this one stands out, nice effort. The graphic element is a little large at present and I don't really like those 'I's around it. I'd like to see the text all in lower or upper case and with a few colour variations if possible. (not sure of the mustard yellow)

johan design: I do like a lot of your entries, simple but effective, and I must say I quite like this one too. I seem to always prefer your black and white version, unfortunately again this logo is going to be on a white background. Out of this collection I prefer the second version. Nice gradient of the text colour and a bright sunshine. Definitely a contender but I'm still not sure that it represents the site (perhaps show a few colour variations)

I can feel that we are getting there. Looking for some cracking entries in the next 24hrs!
