My second contest here. Need a logo for companions.co.uk

It will be a video clip site of funny pet/animal flicks (youtube like)

Want a logo that is crisp, clean, bright. (be creative)

Dont mind cartoonish.

Need to find a winner by Friday latest, good luck to you all

Thanks for the interest people. Good to see you here again Josephine.

Take a look at the site companions to give you an idea of logo placement and proportion; to replace flickscript logo.

I've got no set format or colours (although I'd prefer it to be colourful) and I'm definitely open to surprises. (please remember that I'm British when considering my spelling)

Look forward to your entries. (bedtime here in Spain so I'll be back with you in around 12hrs)

Back again. Thanks to everyone for your entries, here's some feedback:

Matt - don't know if I'm missing something mate but I just get ads on your link.
Poison - not really fun looking enough I'm afraid, also lacks colour.
Jaynesh - kinda like what you've done with the lettering but not keen on the colours and don't feel it relates to the subject.
VictoriaAnn - quite a fun font but a bit one dimensional I'm afraid and don't really like the colour.
1lonestar - bit too dramatic, not sure of the font or colours.
jackieh1791 - I did actually think about incorporating a pawprint, but I dont think it works here. Don't really want the logo to be within a box and if a pawprint is used I'd like it seperate to the text in some way. Also need much more colour than this.
yule - bit corporate I'm afraid, needs to be more fun and colour. Don't like the font.
damnidunno - not really looking to restyle the banner box at this stage, though may be required later.

The animal shapes are from a photoshop shapes pack I obtained from deviantart. If you like the concept, I will create similar pet characters of my own to get out of any copyright issues that may arise. I'm almost positive they were free for all use, but just to be safe.
