Need another logo, this time for worldtravels.co.uk

Type of Contest : LOGO Design
Prize : $35
Contest End Date & Time : Tuesday 7th November - 9.00pmGMT
Size Requirements : Open
Color Requirements : Open

General Requirements :
It will be a video clip site of world tourist attractions (youtube like).
Want a logo that is crisp, clean, bright. (be creative).
Don't mind cartoonish.

johan design: I do like a lot of your entries, simple but effective, and I must say I quite like this one too. I seem to always prefer your black and white version, unfortunately again this logo is going to be on a white background. Out of this collection I prefer the second version. Nice gradient of the text colour and a bright sunshine. Definitely a contender but I'm still not sure that it represents the site (perhaps show a few colour variations)

johan design: Thanks for the colour variations. I think that this is a good logo but I feel that it would better represent a flight/holiday agency site rather than my travel video site. I appreciate the effort.

Sylense: I think that this is a lot better and certainly more colourful but I feel that it is too cluttered (I've been looking at it for a couple of mins and only just realised there's a plane) If you wouldn't mind I'd like to see it without the film roll and the suitcase.

iLLuSiOnZ: good effort but again I'm not looking at it and thinking 'that's the one!'. I dont really like the graphics part of the logo but something about the text appeals (although I do tend to prefer lower case)

krishm: this doesn't really appeal to me. again, the globe thing is quite a big element and I'm not sure about the font.

Anmol: thanks for the second entry. I'm afraid that again these logos are leaning towards a corporate style which isn't the effect that I'm looking for.

I'll say at this stage that I definitely don't want to see any more globes unless they are very different/wacky.

So far there isn't an entry that I can say 'oh, just change that a little and it will be perfect' so keep coming up with new styles and concepts, don't just work on old themes.Thnx

ami: sorry, I missed your entry. Not sure that the airplane gels well with the film spool (although good to be thinking along other lines) The text is bold, which is good but I tend to prefer some stylisation (is that a word?) Bear in mind that the template of the site may be changed in the future so don't go by the current colour scheme of my other video sites.

johan design: thanks pal, I actually prefered your previous entries but have decided that they are definitely along the wrong lines for the theme of the site.

Justin_1: Sorry but these don't do it for me. Don't like the colours, fonts or graphics I'm afraid.

On the basis that I've only got 7 mins of the contest remaining and that I'm not yet close to a winner (for the first time), I need to extend this contest. Not sure how I do it formally but I can only say that it is extended for a further 24 hrs min.

In the meantime I'll try searching the net for examples of logo's I like relating to this subject and look forward to further entries.
