An outbound sale. A funny story. I contacted multiple end-users asking $1200 for it and one of the end-users offered $600. I told him I will sell it to him for $950 if I did not receive any offers any higher offers in the next 3 days. In two days, another end-user offered me $1000 for it and I accepted. He asked for the transaction to be completed via GoDaddy but I told him that GoDaddy's commission is high. He replied that he feels safe more using GoDaddy and offered me $1100 for it via GoDaddy and I accepted. Next day, the guy who offered me $950 emailed me asking about it. I told him that someone else offered me a higher offer. He said that he would have beat the $1100 offer if it's not too late. Meaning, I could have sold the domain for more than $1100 if I had contacted the first guy and informed him about the $1100 offer. But well, still a good sale and I am happy about it. Lesson learned though. Always contact the other end-users who replied to your email to see if they are going to beat the highest offer you received.

Alternatively, you could always setup and direct them to an auction. Let them battle it out.

Regardless, congrats on the sale :xf.wink:

A good idea but I was not sure if they both have a GoDaddy's account. Thank you

Hello,

I looked today into my Afternic account and I saw that domain status is "listed" instead of "pending sale' :(

Awesome sale! Congratulations! Was it listed at BIN or offer/counter-offer? Did you pay for the showcase feature?

I said I WILL BE BACK :)

Series of nice sales in March!
1) LLL.co for $999 it was a ABB.co style combination and a chip. Really happy with that one. I remember I was bidding on LLL.co last year when people were mocking me including top domainers! When you make a bet, believe in it, just make it based on reasoning and common sense! Sold via DNS BIN button, Escrow.com afterwards pretty fast and easy. Buyer from China.

2) 6L.com pronounceable sold via DNS BIN for $1,300 and buyer from Poland, for a polish startup. Very happy with this one, as the net amount to me was higher than what I would've got if I left it on BB! Glad I am gaining confidence ttowards my decision to leave BB!

3) another 6L.for $1,300. Exactly same story as above but this time buyer from China! This guy asked the broker to reduce the price to 999, so we agreed provided he pays within 3 days. After 4 days he didnt agree even to the Escrow.com terms so I cancelled the transaction and told the broker to tell him its not negotiable anymore. Once he received that message from teh broker, he bought the domain for the asking price but from Afternic :) Again sold for more than I would NET from it being left on BB!

4) Oneword+UP.com short brandable for $3,500 again BIN on DNS. EU Startup. Again sold for more than I would NET from it being left on BB!

In short, Im very happy I am back on track now. Upto date, I have made the quota for sales and PROFIT for Q1-2016 for domaining. Any additional sale until enmd of March would be a big bonus! We had ZERO sales in Feb, but our comeback was strong in March! I know I bought quality names for reseller prices, so sales was a natural outcome!

I will always be thankful for everyone here who posted any useful info that helped me all through! Without you guys, I would have definitely had less success. I am grateful to each and everyone of you!

Good luck to everyone of you... you will need it!

Awesome sales! Congrats! Especially the two 6L-brandables - I wish I would find a way to sell my short brandables a bit faster...
