Congrats! Such fast payment!!
Got another sale on Sedo for $3200 BIN last week, this is my second sedo sale, but so far still haven't received payment, payment reminder just sent out today to the buyer. My first sale on sedo wasn't paid neither. I've been making sales on Sedo every month since I started, but I seem to be the only one getting non-paying buyers : ( Buyers of both sales are from different countries.
Will post here if the payment comes in, hopefully soon!
Congrats everyone for all the amazing sales lately.

Just sold H/G/9/9/0/8/8 dot com on 4.cn for $500 via make offer.

My first sale with 4.cn. The domain was parked there.

I had the currency set to USD and got an offer for $3000. WHOA. It was followed up by a message in chinese. I hit accept. YES!

Then I translated the chinese.

It was from the buyer saying he thought he was making the offer in yuan.

Oops.

I messaged the 4.cn broker and asked if she could reach out to the buyer and ask if he would do $500 even. He accepted. Their broker (Cathy) was super helpful communicating with me both on their message system and email (which COULD get messy...i get why a site would want to keep all of their correspondences on site).

I had other offers to sell this domain in lots to Americans and luckily all of those fell through (including here on namepros and via outreach).

What was your listing price?

Just sold chirp**.com for $2000. Sale completed through checkout on my site. From our user acquisition data, it seems to be direct type-in traffic on the domain that lead the user to the site.
Cheers.

Have you faced credit card/Paypal charge back issue?

I just launched a few weeks ago, so only made a few sales so far but so far so good, hope we don't get a lot of chargebacks in the future.
We do log user ip addresses to check user locations against billing addresses for potential fraudulent charges.
If a charge seems to be fraudulent, we do take additional verification steps (i.e. dynamic verification code on the bank statement descriptor to verify ownership of the credit card used).
Hope this helps!
