Suggested values / explanations:
  • Sale venue: Sold at NamePros, outbound direct, inbound direct, etc.

  • Listing upgrades: Premium package, featured listing, etc.
  • Seller: me, a friend, a friend of a friend, a colleague, someone else, unknown, etc.
  • Purchase venue: Where (and the year) the seller purchased the domain name originally.

It depends on how you sold it or who you sold it to?

If you sold it to a Spammer, then that's ok. On the other hand if your buyer was an Investment Management company or a Hedge Fund, then even 20 times that figure would have not been enough!

For the future, if you don't need the money, for high profile niches such as Forex etc, if your name is highly generic, try to hold on a bit longer to your assets. It all depends on how generic your name is and the niche it is in.

M-a-n-g-a-q-c $20. I wanted to develop that one but never had the time nor the interest. I sold it cheap but I didn't want to renew and the cash will be used to buy domains I feel will be worthwhile :)

Both, basically any company that gives these kinds of loans that may be interested.
