The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I just finished the sale of WebHost()pro for $550. I feel it could've brought more but I'm ok with this. Snapped it for 60$ some months ago.

I sent more than 300 e-mails for this name, got exactly 7 interested replies and several non. But negotiation didn't go through. Paypal did the job at last.

Very nice Fx. How are you finding 300 leads for each name if you don't mind me asking? Goes to show that hard work pays off.

Great job FX! :)

Are you strictly finding emails manually one-by-one or are you using any kind of a program?

Thanks

Great job FX! :)

Thanks

Since I first started - I've got every business there is already stored in my own database its taken since 98 to do this.. over the years I've been collecting business data from going too: example.. lets say when I did england business search..

I went to www.companieshouse.gov.uk I use the free search -- I'm gonna find a buyer for lets say a cloud domain

in the company search bar I type in cloud - it bring's everything up with cloud companies in the uk I take all this down yes it takes time - I redo the search using data, and take note then do again using computers and so on -- yes it takes ages to do - I now have huge info - I search for them on google and I find them - I go to there website and I take down there company email/whois email and I add this to my database..if they don't have a site excellent... I'll send them a letter as I have the perfect domain for them :)

it's taken hard work and now it's just to damn easy - I've done this all over the world I have thousands and thousands of details - that I can bring up on my mac I go over the country's in case new business open and note them into my data...

flipping time consuming -- but I have the best end-user data one can have when domaining and it works...I'm not into buying a domain and letting it sit - sit for what? parking crap... someone to come too me, and give me BS on who they are...this way me finding end-users. I know who I'm dealing with and I understand who they are and what they will pay...

domainers are sending emails to the same end-users -- you gotta think outta the box and this way... I always have fresh end-users who are virgin's to us domainers...now I just
search without search.

FX,

Do you email the enduser with a price already in mind on the domain or do you let them make an offer then go from there?

Also how do you set your prices?

I should say that 'make offer' things rarely yield results, other than low-ball things.

If someone emails me - trying to sell me a domain and they don't have a price it wastes my time - replying back with " how much? " sometimes I can't be bothered to do that...it's pointless .. and then to wait on them to think of a magic number it's bs and annoying.

When I make contact as the seller - I have the price in first email..I'm taking up there valuable time - they see the domain they see the price there gonna counter.. they always do...so I set the price a little high I want $1500 so I give them a price of $2k or $2.2k they counter back slighty lower - I'm taking it..

I love these dropped domains / new tech / green / solar / data / and buying at $7 buck's flipping at $1k +

David, you're an inspiring person, just like the one on your avatar.
And I think Eric_Lyon should interview you, and put that inspiring interview in this section. B-)

Wow... Would you be kind enough to answer the PMs at the "how to find end user" thread so everyone can learn as well or here(if it wont get deleted)? I wanted to send a PM but thought you wont respond due to too much PMs.

Thanks for effort.
