good luck with the domain lsiting at greatdomains.

you shouldn't stop sending email's - I love cloud/data/solar/green domains as theres so many endusers around the world -

When I started domaining 98 as a (hobby) and this still is a awesome hobby... I pick my domain I want to sell and I'll start with each country - I look at that country's business data on what business are operating in there country's business tax listings - I find every business that are either cloud/hosting or solar and so on depending what I'm selling note dwn there info's find them on Google take down there whois email or company email - and I now go to another country and do the same - I go around the whole world and once I've got a good amount of data I cater each email to suit that company and send sometimes 400 plus emails for one domain..yup it's taken time - but every company I note dwn I'm building my own database and I add them to it.

and I always mark down the ones - who replyed - the ones who buy and the ones who don't.

so when I sell a cloud domain I go into my datafield look into cloud listing's..I now already have every cloud business contact data and I resend to them all again.. plus always adding new business that open to my datafield.

keep sending - and build your database.

goodluck - never give up

I must say that names that end with medince type phrases surely do have a big market. So many doctors, dentist could benefit from a good name. This is some good real estate to own.

Could someone possibly chime in on this? How much is the name a factor when a doctor or clinic is starting. For example vancovercardiology.com is available and seems like it could be marketed to numerous cardiology clincs?

First thing you should learn is : don't post an available name publicly if you might want to register it yourself and if you think its good, because it could be taken away the minute you post it somewhere publicly. You could use an example of an already registered domain to ask your question.

Back to your question: yes, i think such names are good if there are several potential doctors in that medical field in that city.
Regarding the example you posted, i think cardiologist would be a better choice but cardiology is not bad either. You should google and find potential Docs, here is a list of cardiologists near Vancouver for instance:

http://www.healthgrades.com/cardiology-directory/wa-washington/vancouver

You could then offer them your name with a professionaly written and targeted email (no mass spam emails) and offer the name as a very good generic addition to their already established site (if they have one already) or main site (if they don't).

However, you should also know that the ccTLD extension for Canada is .ca, but of course .com is always good.

I was just using Vancouver as an example. Socialized medicine would not be an ideal place to sell a name like that. So i would not pick Canada. But there are hundreds of available names like that but the market seems very localized dont you think? Many practices already have an established name.
