I'm not sure if I got it this, but the .it domain names is better to grab em with italian Registrars (aruba.it, registrar.it)?

In which cases and why should I prefer to use a "ccRegistrar" to a "Premium Registrar" like GD and so on?

Thx in advance

No, you don't have to use a local registrar.. any registrar that handles .it domains will do

difference with well known registrars (like GD) is that, you have more chances to solve a potential problem than with an unknown company

You used the word 'grab'... I suppose you meant 'register' and not 'backorder' ... correct?

Sorry...you're right about "grab" I'm trying to get vocabulary skills...with no success apparently ;)

Thx

P.s. backorder could be a word like "book" for flights?

Backorder is when you pay a service to register a domain as soon as it drops (ie. it's being free of an owner)

Since .it domains have very erratic drop times -in the case you wanted a domain badly (as in you wanted no-one else to have it but yourself)- then you would have to 'backorder' it so you wouldn't have to go under the procedure of checking every 5 mins if the domain is available to register it manually

You spot the issue...Like everyone, I guess, just get into this industry I tried to search every keyword, geo, etc etc .it...and everyone is already own by some society or private that 80% of times keep it parked somewhere...rarely I saw them sell 'em, I guess mostly because they dont have a definite "market" a definite range of price...

I'm just thinkin loud...O.o
