Let's take for example this situation:
In this moment John is pre-registering the domain jdtfromflorence.eu from the registrar Aruba.it.
Tomorrow morning, Thomas wake up and pre-register the same domain (again with Aruba.it).

Now my question: what happens if Aruba.it manage to get jdtfromflorence.eu?
Does Thomas have a possiblity to get it?

And: if I (-JDT-) try directly to register jdtfromflorence.eu when the sunrise ends, have I got some possibilities to take it although two other guys have pre-registered it?

There a few factors they will take in to condiseration with pre-registrations and then final registrations.

1. Are the from Europe.. if not no chance they can get the domain. So if any of the 2 people trying in your example were not they would not be able to get the name.

2. Another factor similar to this is a Business!! as far as my research goes they will get first pop at any pre-reg .eu domain.

3. Every .eu domain will have to have proof of company and residencany in europe before they allocate the domain.

So say all 3 people come from italy but only 1 of them came from florence and could prove it then they will more than likely get the jdtatflorence.eu domain. yet all 3 will be eligible for the jdt-jdt version.

I hope that helps here is a couple of pages to read up at bit more on this topic.

I'm sorry - even the second was a "jdtfromflorece.eu" (lol, I don't know why I wrote jdt-jdt); I meant: what happens if three U.E. citizens, with no business/rights related to the names "jdtfromflorence", "jdt" or "Florence", pre-register the domain in three different days (with the same registrar)?

#1- The first one to pre-reg it will become the new owner
#2- Everyone who pre-registered the domain will have the same chanches
#3- They have no advantages; everyone who try to register it at the end of the sunrise will have the same chanches
?

Thank you!
