.tv Question: Geo owners, how much do you really want??

Hi,

I have a question for any of you guys who own top class geo .tv's, ideally capital Cities and/or Country .tv's

What i would love to know from those who do list your names at Sedo, Afternic...etc

How much do you REALLY want for your domains if you were to sell them right now??
I dont want you to give the game away so you dont have to reveal the exact domains you own but im trying to get an idea of what you feel geo's are really worth right now.

Are you looking for $3000, $5000, $10,000, $20,000, $100,000....etc

Any replies would be great and would help lots for something i am trying to do.

** I am not trying to buy your Geo's or get any 'inside info' on your selling price before offering...etc SO please dont PM me with Geo's for sale

as you kno i have oxford and hull i think there worth now £500 oxford £200 hull

Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news...

As the .TV train continues to show more and more positive leading and lagging indicators, correspondingly, more and more players , speculators and end users are buying in to the concept of the .TV success story.

Which meas more people are prepared to take a gamble on your Oxford TV...I am sure you could sell it at reseller prices for more than $500 now.

A month ago was a different story....

thing is if you have one good name but 30/40 bad names your good names worth less. to you as that just paying for your other names
it more inportant knowing what bad names are...that i have learned .but is it to late.
..i think i will get there but takes time.
i am going to change the way to buy domains.no longer will i hand reg.

Moniker is conducting an auction on GEOs in November. It's shown on their website.

Youngstown.tv - don't let this happen to you.

I emailed the previous owner in March. He quoted me $3,500 to buy the domain.

Then he let the domain reg lapse.

Someone bought it at auction for $360 (outbidding me b/c I was on the road and couldn't watch the auction).

Congrats to the new owner.

I would say in the $8-10k now, but would be worth holding onto for a couple of years to get to the six figure area.

Q: What % would you expect your Geo to rise in price from what you 'think' its worth now and what you would expect to sell it for in 3 years time??

p.s: My Geo - Belfast.tv is worth $3k - 5k just now (IMHO, thought it is NOT For Sale for a few years)

i have no idea at all .and thats the truth..
i dont think i would sell my home town hull.
i will try to think of a way to make it pay.
