I suggest a new thread titled Problems, Bugs and Fixes at Afternic - Report Problems Here. Then we can all list our issues so Afternic have to fix them. These Afternic probs have been repeatedly flagged up across numerous threads on here over a period of time, including the need for 2FA. Godaddy own Afternic and have the resources and motivation to fix it - this risky mess is unacceptable and reflects badly on their brand.

For info, Afternic keep reverting some of my domains to "In Review" status for no reason, and I only know that if I log in there to check on them. Until I then ask support to take them out of Review they are not listed for sale and will not sell at Afternic.

@Joe Styler When can we expect Godaddy to take action on Afternic, including implementing 2FA?

How do you disable fast-transfer on a domain at Afternic?

I can't seem to find an option there for that.

The other obvious quick methods are set domain status to hidden, or delete the listing, or set the sale price so high that the domain is no longer eligible for fast-transfer.

Domain locking is a security feature to prevent domain hijacking or unauthorized transfer. We recommend you always lock your domain.

I logged into Afternic today and saw that a name of mine had sold via fast transfer.

I got no emails whatsoever that this name had sold and been transferred to the buyer. (And no nothing is in my spam folder.)

Has anyone else experienced that their "In Review" filter in the portfolio page does not work? Or is it just me? I've tried with at least 4 different browsers and the "In Review" filter does NOT work. It always lists a mix of in review domains and listed domains. When reported to the support they basically sidestepped the question and said that my domains have been manually approved!

Yes it's like that on mine. I don't even know what's valid and what isn't. And when I email them I wait 10 emails later for a reply and get the same dumb answer you got.

Yeah I think it lists all your non-fast transfer names in there, too, which is a glitch and if you have a lot of non-fast transfer names it makes the filter quite useless.

Interesting. I'm in the middle of disabling fast transfer for all my names so let's see if that changes the behavior. I'll post an update

Even better if you email the different email addresses for help you get different answers. So they definitely don't read them all coherently. I had one that said I wouldn't get paid til seller confirmed sale... lol.

Every name I've sold on Afternic I never recieved an email confirmation. (My email is set up correctly). Really poor.

The 'in Review' has been going on for years and years. Really poor.

Yes sir I saw that in an email when I asked about it. They told me ALL have to re-do their info. Joe said that wasn't true but I did have to before I could even consider getting paid. Not sure about everyone else though.

I don't know who @Joe Styler is listening to at Afternic but it's clear that he has repeatedly been given absolutely false information again and again. And then he passes that along to us.

Nope, no dice. I disabled FT on every single one of my domains and the in review filter is still broken!
