Guys, i was wondering if anyone has thought of Selling "Shares" of their company/website online? I am currently thinking about doing this with one of my sites. I have a few questions:

How do i determine my total website worth? A formula with traffic, revenue, and costs?

How do i determine how many shares to sell?

How do i determine the dividend that goes to the share holders?

How do i determine whether my shares go up or down in price, and by how much?

Right. Not quite domain name discussion, as colleges and business schools teach semester long courses about INTRO to business valuation.

Not actual entry into the stock market, but selling off part of your company.

That's textbook "valuation"; the best answer to your question would be to spend $50 at Barnes and Noble and buy a book. Anything else here would be asking way too much for a single thread, imho.

When I read the title, I thought you meant some sort of exchange where people could buy shares in parked domains. A big company that owns thousands of names could allow people to bid on each one; the more popular names would go up in price and allow the early buyers to cash in, etc.
