I for one, wasn't happy with the results I was getting, so I decided to have some fun with it... Let's face it... $1/day over at ND won't be paying for my 360 regs anytime soon so... I sent all my parked mobis to my developed site! That's 358 parked names all pointing at 1 name. End result... went from an average of 200 page views (highest to date was 553 in over 3 months of hosting) to 951! That's a whopping 750 hits more than I get 95% of the time and 400 hits more than I've ever gotten! What's 750 hits worth to you? It's worth more than $1 to me :)

Domain forwarding -- you bet! :) It's worked like a charm and hope it continues to. In the future, once my site is further developed, I'll point each name to the relevant section of the site; example, names related to food would go in the food section, but until then, all are forwarded to the homepage.

Unfortunately, I'm horrible at SEO and with how competitive the keyword antioxidants is, I don't think I'll ever rank even top 100 for it :( So Google can kiss my sweet :lala: And I'll gladly take all the redirected traffic :kickass:

A single keyword is hard no matter what. If you go after a two keyword search you might find you get much better results. Especially in the mobile web, which I see as Virgin territory at this point.

I actually score 1st for antioxidants on m.yahoo.com which kind of tickles me :guilty: Don't expect that lasting long once the big boys come in full throttle though :o

I wouldn't worry about it too much I'm up there for great keywords that have crazy PPC, however Admob is sort of a joke because the don't have the advertisers for those kind of clicks. This whole "watered down" web is still too new.

Time will tell, things will play themselves out, and in the end the users will decide what they want to look at on their 2-3 inch screen.

Yep :great: I'm working very hard on not only making my site mobi-compatible, but making it more concise than comparable sites out there. I hate scrolling myself and would much rather have a site which could present the critical information as concisely as possible, through cutting out filler text, removing unnecessary introductions, removing facts most people would consider unnecessary to know,... I think it'll make a difference in the end, but who knows :-/ Looking forward to today B-) Almost 5am here, so once I get some sleep, I'll be ready to read how this iPhone thingy's sales are going -- I'm sure we'll get this uber-press release from Apple if they're strong!
