what do you mean by hunter campaigns?

hunter.io has a send campaign to all leads feature. It helps you to send same formatted email to all leads. It loops on all leads and sends them email one by one. You get to track the opens in their own dashboard.

This stats regarding "opens" doesn't matter.
Only number of sales is important.
Per my experience with email outbound - just 1 sale for $199 (that domain was on Sedo GreatDomains auction).

p.s. Outbound has sense only via phone calls and negotiations with TOP management.

Nice! (y) I myself would've taken the $450 though. Still profit either way, then move onto the next. :xf.wink:
Profit should be calculated per whole portfolio.
You may sell even for $850 (on average) and to be in loss overall.

it matters
as it tells you if your emails are read or not

if they land in a spam folder
there are not read - at least not same day

Even if they are read - in most cases by the lower level employees who are not decision makers... and then just trash it.

if they land in a spam folder
Use your own domain...
Set SPF and DKIM records...
Avoid URLs, just plain text...
And it will be not marked as spam 99%.

And as SMTP you may use SendGrid...

I did not see description of this on their website. Pricing only mentions leads. Is this an extra service for extra fee?

Seems like it's free. It's branded as "outreach". The fee is for finding the leads or 100 leads per month for the free account.

You can track opens in the outreach tab after you send campaign to a leads folder.

2) "No thanks. Would you be interested acquiring iamadomainsquatter.com? "

These type of replies are obvious don't write back to. Sometimes we get in a habit of getting into discussions on a forum and you want to carry that debating or explaining style on an eneduser that disagrees or is rude or clearly doesn't understand the business. But the reality is there nothing to gain from getting into these debates. Plus always consider people have a right to be upset with domain spam. It would also be really embarrassing to five months later send this person another "want to buy my domain" email so should have a method to permanently block a repeat send.

right it got nowhere:

First of all, this has a real offer in the answer so it has to be respected even if it is way off.

The problem is no matter how much we domainers know about generated valuations, to the uneducated on domains enduser, it truly feels like an unbiased evaluation from a respected international third party. This type of answer will only get bigger in the future.

You could offer a quick explanation to the buyer of how computer-generated valuations would be calculated and that the GD system would be tweaked in the direction(lower) of quick sales to get money flowing.

You could offer some similar sales.

To me, it would be ugly, but could do the "Yes GD has it at $xxx but Estibot has it at $xxxx" Type of thing. But might have to take a shower after lol

The point is you have to defend your price in some way (and your own way) or give up the sale or counter within reach of the $450

Good Luck

the domain sold at $1.200 USD

was a handreg of 50 days before
from the daily drops
found at F1lter.com
using custom keywords

here is the email flow:

here is another reply I got just now

"I have a domain. Thanks "

We have to remember people don't see domains like we do.

Most think a domain is only worth about reg fee.

Most don't see the value in having a good name.

It is a hard sell for sure.
