.mobi .mobi domain lacks in SERP?

Does a domain name with .mobi extension lacks in web search (google, yahoo, msn etc.) serps? as I believe it is made for mobile web.

Ok, let me put it in other way.

Does a domain name with .mobi tld rank well like .com's and .net's in web based search result pages? or it will only rank well in mobile web?

Along with the lingering browser default questions ... and more information regarding the adoption of the .MOBI extension by the cell phone makers, etc. PLUS money devoted to (End user and public) marketing & advertising, the extent and nature of the investments by the "backers" of the extension, as well as details of the public awareness campaign to promote the extension (outside of the domain name community) and status of the RFP's ... might all best be answered by mTLD directly, IMHO. :gl:
