I have a mini case study for this question. Honeyjar just raised $2M pre-seed. They might not buy the .com yet, but I checked the price out of curiosity.

• Lower quality: Buy now + Make offer (demo)
• Average quality: Buy now + No make offer + Straight to checkout (demo)
• High quality: Start conversation + Make offer (demo)
• Top 1% quality: Start conversation + No make offer (demo)*

* Inviting offers can devalue the best domains.

As the seller, I would try to get at least 2% of their raise.
