It's common knowledge that there is a much better chance of a sale if there is a (reasonable) Buy Now price.

Sedos 20 percent fee hurts! I sold one today for $1500 BIN and Sedo gets $300 D-:

I sell there when it's necessary. I had 3 other sales this past week and I used escrow.com for those. That way I can get the buyer to cover fees B-)

Yeah! You have to make sure you have those covered in your pricing.

I too prefer to sell via escrow.com. They are usually much more quick and efficient than Sedo. From sale agreed to getting my money is on average less than 1 week.

How do you sell on escrow.com ? Is there a way to change it in Sedo?

I think buy now is better!

I've sold more domains using the Buy Now feature. But, of course I would rather use the make offer feature as you may be able to fetch more for it that way..

If you're looking for a quick sale Buy Now is probably what you will wanna go with.

I think Sedo should have an option where the seller can choose or ask if the buyer will pay the selling fees, a bit like escrow. It shouldn't matter to Sedo as long as the fee is covered.

Just a thought!

Excellent idea - or even a sliding percentage option between buyer and seller...
