There seems to be some conflict on the best way to list domains on Sedo.

It is best to list them as Make Offer, Make Offer with a Price Option, or simply advertise it as a Buy it Now listing? Buy it Now can be an advantage, however, you then have the problem of pricing/positioning them correctly.

What are your experiences, and what has worked well for you?

Putting your mediocre domains on Sedo will attain very few to no attention if you choose the 'Make offer' option.

No so bad then if you list them as 'Make Offer' with a price??

I offer my nearly all of my domains as 'make offer', some of them including a puclic asking price - so the interested person has always the chance to start a bidding negotiation with me while knowing what's my asking price at the same time and while knowing that there is a chance for him to get it probably cheaper than for my asking price - that's motivating for him in my opinion.

I think the combination of 'make offer' + 'public asking price' can bring in the most results.

For example, it looks like this:

Personally, if it's something allot of people might be interested in (LLL's, NNNN's..etc) then I use the Make Offer option that's a bit low or reasonable. Lots of people search for those types of names specifically so you can get quite a few offers on them. Your less searched names like geo-service names or brandables I would list with a BIN (and using MLS if possible) to get the most exposure. This is how I've always done Sedo because like others said, your names won't usually get a ton of exposure there...

Only buy bow! You save on fees and sell more. I am too lazy to look up the % what you sell more. But $1000 range domains you sell more, people buy in the moment, next day uf he wakes up he even dosent want the domain anymore
