Hello everyone,

I was having a debate that I think it's interesting, which 4L.com is the most valuable in the world right now? I believe it's King for several reasons, but specially for the deal of the year in 2015 with Blizzard acquiring them for 5.9 BILLION, this has to make KING.com the most valuable domain name in the world right now, or does it not? I cant think of any other that could top this.

9D stands for 9 dimensional but is synonmous with 9D VR which of course is Virtual Reality.
4K is going to replace HD as the hottest new TV ish device.

I think these can be worth billions.

By the way? Pushing for KING as thee most expensive domain in history is kinda a misnomer isn't it?
I mean it's like someone saying that if someone bought Exxon the company for say a trillion dollars which includes of course EXXON.com that EXXON.com is thee most most expensive domain in history! But in fact the person buying Exxon isn't buying it for the domain but more for all the gas stations and trucks and oil tankers and offices and pretty much everything the company owns. If the owner thinks the name EXXON sucks he or she could just drop it and get a new one like BIGOIL.com. Now that sounds like a better fit than EXXON.com.

so that KING.com COMPANY. I repeat COMPANY buy out isn't about buying a domain it's about buying an entire company and all it's assets. Yes including the King.com domain but also the offices and computers and patents and trademarks yadda yadda yadda.

If that's the case then King.com would sell at market value 4L.com's price. around the same prices as say FB.com or AA.com but NOT Billions. no away!

KING.com valued as a domain along is definitely not as good as others mentioned: book, blog.com, porn.com, game.com, etc.
But if you include the business, then I guess king.com is more valuable then the others.

IMO, I think KING dot com is a GREAT 4L(.)com, But based on end user potential, I personally think the following is or would be more valuable just due to the generality of the word and the traffic the name can/could create.

These are just off the top of the head my man...

(I only skimmed through the thread responses so I'm sure some of you great domainers have already said some if not most of these).
