Since LLL.com, LLL.net, L-L-L.com, LLLL.com, and LLLL.net have all been filled up, where has the demand gone to now?

Is it L-L-L.net? Or CCC.net (if there are any left)? Or LLLLL.com? And LLLLL.com are only valuable if the word is pronounceable, correct?

I'm basically trying to find the right direction to start in. I thought I came across some amazing finds with some LLLL.com but it turns out they are only about to be deleted, and I don't really know how I'll get my hands on one before anyone else (I am assuming people go nuts the second they become available again?).

My guess would be LLLLL.com that are actual words or pronounceable and the next most valuable domains. There are many L-L-L.net available so I'd think they can't be worth much, right?

Thanks. I'm a newbie looking to get into the world of domaining. I posting threads and lurking the forums to understand everything better.

I don't think LLLL.net has "been all filled up"... I think hundreds are still being bought each day.

LLLLL.com are fun to invest in but I think most of the really really decent ones have been taken - but you can still obtain many of the good ones cheap around the forums and such. These 5L are such a wildcard though - you could hand reg an obscure one today and sell tomorrow for four figures if you get lucky.

It's a pretty good time to buy LLLL.com, these next few months may be as low as you will ever see them.

As for the rest, no advice here as I don't dabble in those areas.

Dont bother with CCC.nets, and as for L-L-L, my personal advice is to avoid them, but its up to you. Daniel said it pretty straight forward as well.

Thanks. Maybe I meant there are not LLL.net taken then?

When you say it is a good time to buy LLLL.com, you mean from people on the forum, right? There's none left to register anymore, correct? And if you buy from someone what makes it possible to sell it for more? Would you need to develop a site on it? Wait a while before reselling it?

LLL.net are long gone but LLLL.net are available although I personally wouldn't invest too much into them considering the current values of LLLL.com's. LLLL.com's sold out last year but are frequently traded on the forums and on auction sites. IMO they're the safest bet and will probably net you the great ROI. If you look around you can get some really good deals on them.

I expect that you can find some decent domains by going through the LLLLL.com drops - with a LOT of patience. That is how many of us built our LLLL.com collections. I often average two hours searching for each name I buy, your results will depend on your finances and the amount of time you have.

I totally agree that this recession period will probably be the last chance to get LLLL.coms for anything like the price they are now. But learn as much as you can and start slow, the recession has several months more to go, as a minimum. I would say start with the lower priced LLLL.coms, and slowly work your way into better ones, depending on your budget. There are those who insist the best return is only in the higher value CVCVs and etc, and there are others who, like me, point out that premium LLL.coms are not a whole lot more expensive than the lowest tier and wonder if the same will become true of LLLLs.
