I've been Scammed on Digital Point

Hi guys,

I bought BetEstate.com for $110 from "Worldix" on Digital Point. I haven't received the site or domain and he was enquiring about what would happen if he had a negative balance and provided fake details which i didnt see before i sent the money

He claims his name is Marco Lombeli from Italy but id imagine he's set up a fake account and moved my money to E-gold or Moneybookers which he uses a lot. Ive started a claim which i should easily win but i dont think ill get the $110 back if he has used fake details and moved the money to another account? would i get it back? im really angry at this guy....

Now you know what I meant what he is doing is illegal. So now exchanges on money programs as such.

This scamer stolen you 110$ and you are wondering to report him ... Report him and tell the world what is doing this scamer.Start themes in DP and other forums ,send emails (10000 :hehe: ) on all his address.

Hey Kev did you see Worldix is banned at DP. I dont know for how long. Just thought this might interest you. I do know I reported one of his threads of his money exchange programs. I dont know if others reported him as well. But I hope you got all your business taken care of. If not just get paypal to send your money back if you can if he hasnt already moved the money,

yeah, he says he uses NP so he has an account here so maybe the mods can ban him here aswell.

Yup I have seen this happen quite often at Dp, It takes them so long to ban a person and sometimes its on matter unrelated to your complaint. In addition no replies to any of your questions. Many times when such questions are posted in the suggestion and feedback area are locked within 2 - 5 posts and still no reply to your questions.

What is his username here instead? Better to know this......despite he could get another account.

Hello friend if you have paid up the money and didn't received the goods then did you got the I.P. of the user from DP mods?

On a side note I was surprised by the proliferation of 'buying parking account' posts at DP :td:

The latest scam I read on DP

1. senior member creates a thread asking for buying egold (lets say his forum id SrGuy)
2. n00b says 'Yeah' in post reply
3. scammer creates a yahoo account [email protected]
4. gets n00b yahoo id from his forum profile
5. finalize the deal on yahoo with n00b and recieves the payment.
6. scammer runs away with money
7. n00b creates thread screaming he got scammed by SrGuy.

The End.

It was for $231.

uhm..I don`t which one is biggest challenge: get the DP mods to get back to or get GoDaddy act on invalid Whois......that`s more a job for the ICANN I think.

Digital Point isn't a great place to sell at - their staff take the laissez-faire attitude that they won't get involved if you get scammed.

(Trust me, I've been scammed there before). After PMing back and forth with some of their staff, I ended up finding out that I'm welcome to go over there and scam members, and the staff won't get involved... great system they have going..
