I've been Scammed on Digital Point

Hi guys,

I bought BetEstate.com for $110 from "Worldix" on Digital Point. I haven't received the site or domain and he was enquiring about what would happen if he had a negative balance and provided fake details which i didnt see before i sent the money

He claims his name is Marco Lombeli from Italy but id imagine he's set up a fake account and moved my money to E-gold or Moneybookers which he uses a lot. Ive started a claim which i should easily win but i dont think ill get the $110 back if he has used fake details and moved the money to another account? would i get it back? im really angry at this guy....

Bet the paypal was unverified as well?

Man how you can send 110$ to someone with 2 TR.People are very careful when make deals with users that have less than 50-60 TR.Don't trust to anyone which is in DP from 1 week and have 1-2 TR be more careful.Can you issue refund ?

i dont use DP that much and didnt realise that he was a member for only a week. i spoke to him on MSN and he seemed a genuine guy

never been scammed before :td: think i was caught off guard

The bad thing is that he claims to be italian.

I hope he`s really italian or I`m going to be double pissed off.

Scamers are one of the biggest problems in the Net.I have been scamed few times but with little sums - 8-10$ I learn a lot from this situations and every time when I make a deal with someone new I am extremely careful.So next time be more careful and don't repeat old mistakes

im normally careful but this name, if you look at alexa, receives a tonne of gambling traffic. i was buying this name specifically to park and i got a little bit excited as i knew he was underselling it. Would have made an absolute killing on Fabulous so kinda gutted i didnt get it

DP is no.1 jungle of the internet full of scammers, I dont even know if they have mods on forum. I usually go there to chill out

Edit : That guy is still online and Viewing Forum Buy, Sell or Trade ..

I read both threads and really he seems to be a very bold and professional scammer. :td:

I hope you get what you eventually get what you need $$. Did you report it to either Shannon/Smyrl or CrazyRob? Both are excellent mods over at DP.

I know some may think that the DP mods care more for the scammer and not the scammed. But you may be surprised. Just becareful, because sometimes they get touchy and annoyed and can end up banning you and not the scammer.

Can I suggest never to do deals via IM. Send all info pm's on the forum next time. I fine a lot more people can prove or have more support if deals are sent pm or stated in thread vs IM chats

italiandragon read the post link i put in the post prior to yours. Maybe you might understand what he is trying to do,

But yeah he will send you money to your moneybookers or moneygram for a percentage, He is the middle man. Lets say the guy that wants to pay you only has paypal and you only have moneybookers. Well than this guy has both. He will accept the paypal payment for you. Than transfer the money to his moneybookers account. Than pay you from there. And will take out a transaction fee for transfering funds to you,
