Some ****er here sold me an adult domain, which got 250 uniques a day on his screenshots but only does 3 or 4 uniques a day now I have it.

Secondly there's a guy now e-mailing me claiming to be the owner wanting to sue me because I hacked his GoDaddy account and stole his domains (WTF!).

So that's like a double scam isn't it.

The charming guy who did this to me is: godumbe

Any admins care to step in and lend a hand?

This is terrible.

That's why I never buy traffic domains on screenshots,
I prefer access to webstats directly.

I'm sure NP admins will look into this, report it to them though...they might not see this.

Have you confronted godumbe about the discrepancy in traffic? If so, what was his reply? If you're requesting assistance, we need details. I don't even know the domain in question.

Also I don't understand the second item about someone emailing you about hacking their GoDaddy account. How is this a scam, and how does it involve NamePros?

from what he is saying i believe he means that now he has the domain someone else is emailing him saying that the domain is theres and hit was hacked out of there godaddy account,

if thats the case then the seller sold a stolen domain here on NP and the OP is warning us about him, i think lol.

i would request the person emailing you saying that it was his provides some kind of proof it was his, real proof, this could be a case of the original seller selling it to you, then using another ID saying it was stolen to get it back etc.....

tricky one for sure, dont give anything up until your 100% sure that the guy emailing you is real and can prove it was his, then direct him to the person who sold you the domain.

Ok, I understand now what was meant by DOUBLE scammed. It was the same domain involved in both of these situations for rdmedia -- misrepresented traffic stats and possibly stolen now. I thought you were referring to two separate situations.

godumbe's NP account is closed pending investigation of these incidents.

rdmedia, I would like to know the domain in question so I could do a WHOIS history search. Please both, keep us posted on what you hear from GoDaddy.

i sent the person that is claiming that i broke into his account all the info that proves that i never did that and bought the domain here.

i have screenshots of paypal, have transaction id of godaddy and everything else needed and i also showed him this topic.

rdmedia: do the same for your domain.

I hope this gets fixed soon. Always get real proof of buying traffic. If it is legit they should have NO issue on showing you their stats

This really a scary story for newbies like me. Do we have anything TO prevent those scamer to show us fake traffics? Give me some guide please.

Look at their post count, ask a few respected domainers if they have dealt with this person before. If you are serious about buying the domain ask to get access to the log files to see where the traffic is coming from.
