How long does it take to get approved for AdSense?

I signed up about 48 hours ago, but have not heard back from Google. Not even a receipt saying that they received my application. Anyone know how long it takes to get approval?

Don't worry, armstrong, it took them 4 days (well, almost... 3 days 21 hours) to validate my site. You should hear from them soon.

Took me over the weekend to get a friend on there most recently.
If the site you are using to apply is questionable it usually takes longer, just a caveat.

Google sends checks by UPS to members who earn more than $10,000 per month. Hence, the "UPS Club".

RJ is right - it use to be the fedex club but I guess google changed to UPS. Everyone else gets it by standard mail.
