It's about time for numerics .info to explode very very soon. I personally think it's the sleeper horse in all of this and that it will rival .net and .com before it's over. A lot of great patterns in 5n .info just sitting there like a sitting duck.

For what its worth.....
Domain investing should be done with the end user in mind.
From end user perspective, this whole "numbers domain name registration game" is a no-brain-er, as there is no additional branding power over a domain name with words.
Yes maybe 3 number domains (and 1,2 numbers) and very fancy 4 number domains will hold value. But the yearly reg fees will kill this number frenzy in 2-3 years, as additional parking revenue is nonexistent.

What you have to decide, is which extension has the best future. Is it .xyz? .tv? .mobi? .co? .biz? .org? .blackfriday?

I say .info will emerge ahead of all those and will be a major player before it's over. Other than .com and .net it's a guessing game, and I think it will be .info after that once people figure it out.

Gotta say that while it looks like anything is possible nowadays, I don't quite understand numeric .infos. Not an expert on the subject but dont't numerics mostly translate to some motivational, inspirational etc. abstract phrases like 'prosperity for all', 'much luck' and so on? .info doesn't feel like a good fit for those.

Some more 4N.INFO sales over XX, things will keep going this way. Like I said before, 4N in general is rare now in the market place, .com will command the highest amount but .INFO will grow as well. Yes there are triple repeater patterns, but has anyone noticed that not one of them have 8? That must be extra premium and more than just a low XXX.

china does not use the .info extension, they are the only reason why it would "EXPLODE" as you state it. So i cant see anyone other than speculators investing in this, unless china shifts toward .info.

go figure how many recent .info sales reported on 4.cn vs .biz, .tv, .cm(!) not even touching .net, .cc, .cn etc

.info had 2.5 times less regs than .biz as of Aug-2015 at HiChina - biggest China registrar (around 4,500 only vs 10,000 .biz vs 394,000 .nets vs 58,000 .orgs)

chaomi does not even track it..

its not popular in China - simple as that... will always be cheaper/less valuable than .com, .net, .org, .cc, .biz, .cn, .com.cn in China

@Pandemic - I also had a feeling that .info numeric domains would end up exploding.....

I have a really good .info (8 related domain) that I am VERY VERY reluctantly selling as part of the portfolio mentioned in my signature. The entire portfolio is a very reluctant sale but I need the funds urgently so I'm doing what I have to do.
