Am pretty green to selling websites and domains
Sold my 2nd website on Flippa.
I use PP a lot for my regular business (esty craft store) Never had a problem.
Pushed the domain to my auction buyer on GD and asked for the information to also install his website.
I requested install URL / UN /PW. This was Friday night. He sent me what he claimed was GD username and password. This wasn't what I asked for, but I told him I'd check on it. Friday night I spent relaxing with my family after what was a horribly tragic week for America.
Saturday I immediately tried to log into buyer's GD as he asked.
Log in did not work.I let him know this on Flippa. I also chided him gently for changing the DNS when nothing was transferred.
I was then shocked to see on Paypal that he stopped the payment and claimed non receipt.
I wrote him that I want my domain back and basically couldn't trust him because he poisoned the well.
He wrote back & said I wasn't doing my job and he would lift the hold when everything is working. I said no way and return my domain. I'm a nice lady but don't push me around.
During this time I filed a dispute, he replied today it appears. He also sent me an email directing me to contact him on his US GOV DHS email INSTEAD of Flippa. Hmm. Why did he write that ? All in all this has been a depressing and creepy experience and ruined my weekend.
Any advice ? Beside sticking to my esty store.
