As I’ve received threats pertaining to this, I want to air this out on my own terms. Sorry to NAZZZ ( https://flippa.com/users/934915 ) but hey, why should I apologize for beating you to the punch?
This nightmare of a user first got to my case several weeks back. You see, I had over 100 auctions running concurrently on Flippa. Realizing I’ve bitten off more than I could chew, I decided to lighten up my list. A man asked me if I’d put BINs on the listings, so he could immediately purchase a handful. I agreed and thus, BINs were set for him.
Enter NAZZZ. He made a handful of BIN requests. Note for non Flippa users: Sellers have the power to accept or reject ANY bid for any/no reason. NAZZZ made a few BIN offers. I turned them down, as they were set for another individual. The other then offered, and I accepted them.
NAZZZ complained, called me “fishy,” and he threatened to go on all the domaining forums telling ppl how shady he believed me to be. I calmly replied to him, “I welcome you to. Afterward, everyone will tell you exactly what I just did: Flippa allows sellers to turn down offers. Nothing shady here.” He didn’t reply.
Now, let’s go a little into the future. To explain the problem, read this email I sent to Flippa a few days back:
I was notified that somehow, the auto-accept feature was turned on. I replied to them that I have no idea where the feature is, let alone how it was turned on. This only happened with 5 of my items, the 5 NAZZZ won. Had I the chance, I’d have closed the auctions before they finished up. I was deprived of the chance.
Yet still, instead of disputing the 5, I TRIED TO ADHERE, being a nice guy. You all know me: I’ve done business with over 100 of you in the past. You know I’m a good guy. Out of niceness and since I felt bad for him getting pissed about the earlier BIN thing, I decided to try fulfilling the 5 auctions. Once everything bought was removed from my portfolio, I’ve seen that there was nothing left to give him other than a few that he flat-out refused. My niceness had to end at 60%--he didn’t want anything else of mine.
I again told him of this. His response was calling me fishy, yet again, and refusing to pay me for the other 3 domains, even though he admitted me and Flippa staff that the domains were pushed. And once again, he gave me the “I’m gonna tell everyone on NP and DNF about this!” thing. I’ve climbed many a water tower throughout my years in this business, and I suppose I have to yet again. If I didn’t post this, he’d have done so, trying to win everyone’s favor. Sorry to him, but he will not ruin my reputation. In fact, I honestly believe he did this on purpose: seeing a few of the domains had sold on BIDO and placing BINs, hoping to exact an odd revenge for me “being fishy” by following the rules in our 1st encounter. The irony is: he is the rule-breaker, refusing to pay even though he acknowledged to staff that I sent the domains. He will comply with an apology from Flippa, so I suppose he’s not entirely unreasonable.
I welcomed him to post in here. And I still do. He can rant all he feels. I will not deprive him. Is he in the right? In a way. I understand he’s upset. But he’s barking up the wrong tree here. This might have been avoided had Flippa not had the accept/deny any bid thing. For now, he’s taking anger out at the guy who felt sorry for him & tried to help. Naturally, he turned into a prick. I’m in no way deterred though, and I’ll still help ppl out when I feel. But when an asshole like him tells me I “should be banned” for my hospitality, it hurts him all and me none.
Whatta tool.
For transparency, here is the entire convo, with contact info removed. Read my 1st reply. I think this had something to do with it.

Now, let’s go a little into the future. To explain the problem, read this email I sent to Flippa a few days back:
I’m having an issue that Flippa needs to look into. I’ve auctioned
over 100 domains in the last month. Most were bought via BIN. These
were domains that I’ve had in my Flippa portfolio and moved to
auction. I’ve moved 2 domains that, as I learned, are no longer owned
by me. I went to tell current bidders of these two of the mistake
(Flippa would have then been asked to close those auctions) but before
I had the chance to, Flippa accept the BINs on them without my consult.
In fact, Flippa accepted BINs for 5 of my domains.
This error of Flippa’s is okay for the most part. As I had a lot of
similar domains to sell, I didn’t mind losing money. All 5 were
accepted to the same buyer. I successfully sent him 3 of the 5. Even
though the sales were because of a Flippa error, I attempted to
make-do with them, regardless. But here is the issue: the buyer has
very particular tastes. He wants 2 three-letter .info’s to replace the
2 I cannot send him, yet he requires them to not have the letters A,
E, I, O, U, or V. The only ones I have remaining contain these
letters, thus he won’t accept them.
I’ve tried to work around Flippa’s error without bothering support.
But since he won’t accept any domain I have for replacements, the
error’s workaround has to stop at 60%. I am not capable of giving him
the last 2 domains.
I need Flippa to intervene. Here are the two in question:
https://flippa.com/5689101
https://flippa.com/5689126
They were paid with Flippa escrow. I need Flippa to return the money
and cancel these two auctions out. I am aware that there is some fault
on my end, as I technically listed 2 domains that I shouldn’t have.
But this issue would have been cleared up with little to no mess had
the BINs not have been accepted without my consent. Thanks for your
help. I don’t mind losing a bit of cash (as I had), but I can’t
sidestep your error any further. The buyer simply won’t accept any of
my remaining domains.
