Estibot-Be attentive with them!
Wished to buy the domain (оldcоin.infо) on tdnam Closeouts. Has decided to check up through their service the domain. While I went behind a card the domain the domain has already been bought. Before the domain was accessible to registration more than 10 hours. It not coincidence. At me with their service already the second time the such. I thought this coincidence. I will not use any more their service.

I don't buy it. Estibot is a reputable company. I have used them for years and checked thousands of names with them and never run into this issue with them. The domain you mention never dropped and has been regged for over 2 years. If it was in a GoDaddy Auction, someone outbid (or bid) for it and won. If you want a name, got to grab it. Cheers.

Auction-tdnam Closeouts (5$+reg fee)
When I have come was 12 hit. After I have checked up the domain at them there was one hit and at once it was bought. Before the Domain was accessible to registration many hours. I had already similar case. Heard such from other people about estibot. If I am not right I is ready to apologise before them.

I've never had that happen with estibot, ever. I think this was an isolated incident or just bad luck on your part.

Estibot is a service just for fun, or for amateurs, regardless of this incident.

The name "oldcoin.info" isn't even that great of a name.
You're talking 6600 gmsve @ .60 cent clicks... I'm pretty sure I could find a better name in fifteen minutes for reg, randomly mining the .info namespace for keywords.

If you had accidentally stumbled across some epic name in the $5 bin and this happened, it might make ya go hmmm.... But there's nothing about oldcoin.info that would make anyone jump up and run to their registrar, or 'trigger' some sort of automated registry function where an unregistered name that hit certain stats was instareg'd before the user could log off Estibot and open up godaddy.

I know in the past the owner of estibot stated that he uses secured servers. He also publicly stated he would not do this.

My personal take on this is if its a good domain be quick, I've missed out on domains which I would imagine no one else is watching because I was thinking about it for 5 minutes. There are loads of people watching those tdnam closeouts.

Instead of using a credit card I use a paypal account on file at godaddy and have a discount code available infront of me. this saves valuable seconds... and might be worth thinking about.

Here has found a similar theme on DNF
Well, maybe you should have read the whole thread.

I think it's generally a good idea to do some research before making unfounded public accusations.

Heard such from other people about estibot.
That hardly qualifies as research.

If Estibot had been spying on its users and grabbing domain names from under their noses, then would we really still have more than 3,000 active members after more than 2 years?

Here's the logic: I built a service to help domainers perform domain and keyword research, valuation, and to help them find quality expiring domains. I want as many subscribers as possible, and I want to keep my subscribers. This means keeping them happy. Would it make sense then to screw them over? Word would get around and I would lose all my precious subscribers and that would be the end of it.

Estibot users like MrSpartan and Archangel (thank you by the way) have been performing various types of domain research for hundreds of thousands of domains each day for the past two years. In the domain name game, it happens from time to time that a user loses a domain due to a simple 'you snooze you lose' phenomenon, and every once in a while someone posts here crying murder without thinking twice.

it's just a coincidence. Time to move forward. Now how about that apology?

He is right.

The basic point of it is that (at least) 2 sites were involved in the process this domain name went through.

You just pointed fingers at the one most convenient.

I really didn't even understand what happened after your first post, it was very vague and unclear, a horrible way to accuse someone of something. ESPECIALLY when it turns out you're only complaining you didn't catch a drop! (Or bid highest on a drop, I still can't understand what you're trying to say, mate)

This thread is ridiculous. I think esitbot needs to make some "AI" in its domain valuation formula, because as it is most domains are either way overvalued or way undervalued, but that is a different issue.

Just because they haven't perfected their site (by the way, nice work on the godaddy auction compare tool) does not mean they are out to get you.

I've been using Estibot pretty much since its inception.

Some of the names I've run through them, BEFORE registration, anyone one of us would grab, given a chance, they don't.

So, to cut it short, Estibot doesn't do frontrunning in my experience, as well as that of the other domainers here... Esa is kind enough to explain and yes, sometimes when you snooze, you lose.

I've been an estibot user for many years and have checked OVER 100,000 domains with them. Your claim had never happened to me. As said a few times earlier: Ya snooze, ya lose

All was very strange....
If you even do not have doubts in their honesty the theme can be closed. My problem is solved.
Thanks
